I buy a lot of game on Steam, what recommendations in addition to your tips on steam reviews, what other tips do you have to spot fake reviews etc.. Thank you
@LFPGamingКүн бұрын
the 'overall review' score on steam can usually be trusted but only on games that have over 1000 reviews. if a game has less than that, then it's easier for the company to just buy a bunch of fake steam reviews and to manipulate the overall review score

What copyrighted music do they use? Like I'm wondering who they stole from? Any idea?
@LFPGamingКүн бұрын
they didn't steal any music, but the issue is that they BOUGHT music, and then were too cheap to purchase an outright license for the music. it's honestly not even that expensive for music, because I even have my own music that I paid for to have created, and I own an outright & full commercial license on the song, and I paid just $300 for it. So in the game's overall budget, that is absolutely nothing since they're very likely spending millions on developing this game.

HELLO ! Great review! Which game have more replayability between Fabledom and Urbek City Builder and which is more challenging between both? Which is a better game between both ? I like cities building games ! Thank you
@LFPGaming7 күн бұрын
I've played Urbek City Builder, although it was over a year ago, so they've probably added more content since the last time I've played it, but I would say that Urbek City Builder is the better game. But both are not exactly the same type of city builder, so they both play a bit differently, because Urbek City Builder is a 'city sim' and Fabledom is a 'colony sim'. There's a slight difference in gameplay mechanics, so Urbek City Builder is more similar to Cities Skylines or High Rise City, than Fabledom.

You do a lot of complaining like you don’t understand what early access means
@LFPGaming7 күн бұрын
the purpose of any review, is to evaluate whether or not the game is worth $20 right now. It doesn't matter if it's in early access or a full release... if it's not worth $20, or filled with issues, then they shouldn't be asking $20

The game releases in a day or so, and I'll update the description with the price when a price is made public, but another thing that pisses me off is that not only does the game use asset packs from the Unity store, but it also uses copyrighted music and this video got 2 different claims on it for music, so there's that too.

@@LFPGaming The official post was this: It is with a heavy heart that we announce our departure from the virtual space. Over the past 3 years we have enjoyed creating and building an application that broke barriers and expectations in content creation and want to thank those who supported us along the way. Due to the heightened focus on its core business, Movella has decided to limit investments in non-core businesses. Accordingly, the OBSKUR platform will no longer be active effective March 31, 2024. Thank you all once again for your support! Keep pushing boundaries and continue making your stream unreal! -Obskur

You will be much happier once you unlock drones. It does seem like maybe they could unlock a little sooner, but then you can setup a dump chest and the drones will sort it to all your chests. You can then eventually set all your remote outposts to pick up and drones will bring all your stuff back to your main base.
@LFPGamingАй бұрын
I unlocked drones today, after playing another 5hrs or so. Drones are really good, and Teleporters as well. They honestly trivialize much of the game, so now all that I need to do is explore to my heart's content and I can return to the base any time I want. It ofcourse takes a long time to get to that point (about 25hrs in my playthrough) but I think that's a fair amount of time

@LFPGamingАй бұрын
@@samdave6524 I'd say that if you're looking for a non-fast ARPG (like titan quest or path of exile where you kill hundreds of enemies in a single minute), then either Achilles or NoRestForTheWicked is really your only two options on the market right now. Both games are much slower than titan quest or path of exile, and you need to concentrate on combat more in Achilles or NoRestForTheWicked. I personally prefer a fast-paced ARPG, but that's just my personal preference. There's nothing really bad about Achilles, and $25 is actually a small price for a game that has 20hours+ of content.

So the game is released now (at the time of recording, it wasn't released yet), and the price of the game is $7. As I stated at the end of the video: If the game costs like $5 then I guess it's not a terrible value-proposition, but you shouldn't buy this game for $7 and then expect that you're going to get a game that has the quality or content of a game like Project Zomboid or Dysmantle, etc.

Camera is very far back behind the character like in original witcher 3 yet as opposed to witcher, this world seems very cramped and claustrophobic. Shouldn't the camera be over the shoulder to better convey the more cramped atmosphere.

First off, hats off to you for diving into the deep end of content creation - it's no small feat! As I eagerly tuned into your latest masterpiece, armed with popcorn and high expectations, I found myself on a bit of an unexpected detour. There I was, ready for a grand adventure, only to find our hero meandering in the newbie zone. It's a bit like gearing up for a space odyssey only to end up at the local planetarium - educational, but not quite the galactic journey I had in mind. Don't get me wrong, there's charm in the basics, and you've done a great job showcasing them. However, my inner adventurer craves the thrill of uncharted territories and epic battles fitting of our character's renown. Thanks for all the hard work and dedication you pour into your videos. It would be really great to see our Barbarian in action in more hard territory. But i didn't look up all your videos so the last sentence might be invalid.

Alas, fellow adventurer, I do not possess the strength of spirit to venture into the distant lands that this fantasy world offers, because I am currently on a different journey, in a another mystical world, called Last Epoch. If only I had the power to control time & space, then perhaps I would be able to adventure in two worlds simultaneously, but that power is beyond my reach. Perhaps one day, I shall return to the dark lands of Sanctuary to start a new adventure, but I know not when that day will come to pass.

Okay. I know James is a train enthusiast, but I do see a few things wrong here. 1. You always tie up and disconnect the air hoses first before uncoupling 2. You do not knuckle in (couple up in American jargon seeing as this had knuckle couplers) at more than 3 miles an hour 3. You ALWAYS keep to 15 mph speed limit when shunting 4. You ALWAYS follow the instructions of the brakemen on the ground.

James at the helm of an SD40-2, after all his talk about Hornby(I.E. Toy Stories), it just feels prophetic. You can tell he’s ecstatic to be driving a real locomotive. Although, I’d assume he’d rather drive the Tornado than an American built EMD. But he’s definitely not disappointed.
