They break. Half the fun is maintaining them. Eventually you'll break all the common stuff, upgrade it, and you'll have to replace fewer parts. They still require maintenance. And not hitting curbs.

It looks like the pillow ball just popped out of the socket, the caster block didnt look broken or cracked at least that I could see

Shot!!!…That has gotta go in the trash immediately, it broke beyond repair.

It’s not broke . Put it back together . Kraton don’t like nose dives or lawn darts . It’s kind of bouncy on the back end when landing too . The 4s one is the sweet spot . 1/8 is fun and fast but for me 1/10 size is great . Liking the 1/10 granite right now . Anything that breaks is an easy fix on these . Doesn’t need upgraded parts imo . They break too
@dustburnerdustymudders5094Ай бұрын
That was a terrible landing Even when bashing you have to know what you’re doing.

hahaha i've been hardcor-bashing my exb for 1 month now and got only drive shaft replaced - sorry but you're wrong. It's 6s car dude it weights almost 9kg with the batteries...so pretty normal to broke when you hit something with 40+km...or if it drops bad like that. Got MJX 1:16 (budget rc car) and i can tell you that it breaks diffs like crazy....more than 12 for 1 year....

So, you hit a cement curb at 48 mph, because you can't drive! So it's your fault!

My first Hobby lv car was an Ftx Colossus 1/8 with Castle creations Mamba Monster. WAY outta my skill level. Built a little quarter pipe. Hit it fast at an angle smashed into block of flats rather than going parallel to it 😭

I bent my center front driveshaft doing a ramp like that on day 5 and lost the servo too . She did a lawn dart one time and now I know never ever let this lawn dart . Edit : it’s been through much more . Still running good 👍. Not sure why the servo went but I’ve read they do go rather quick . Pretty solid as is . Only added aluminum top chassis braces .

I thought too much with a 6s then I got used to 4s and 6s is still really powerful but doesn’t have to be full beans everywhere . Kinda like a sports car or any car tbh .

I enjoy watching people saying, "oh it's too slow and oh I would've done 3 of them" This machine cost 50k plus for a good reason, the purpose of it is so you don't have to bust your back doing tires and can use your energy on something else. I've used plenty of tire machines, so far auto34 and revolution were both my favorite. Miles ahead of their competitors. They get tires done effortlessly, they mount and dismount low profile runflat tires like breeze. unless you are extremely stupid or else you just can't fuck things up If someone enjoys busting their back and your knees scratching the wheel with an old school clamp mount tire machine... Go for it. For me I'll stick with my hunter, proper tools makes huge difference.
@plor1261Ай бұрын
Not only that, but the average tire shop isn't working on wheels that cost 5k a piece and speed isn't the priority. These fancy machine are for the cars you absolutely can't scratch and it buys peace of mind to those clients. I certainly wouldn't bring my (hypothetical) super car to a shop with any tire machine. They better have the best stuff.

I took mine out for the first time Saturday and I made sure to keep checking the back wheels to make sure they were tight and they were definitely loosening up. Not the front which is weird just the back. Other than that it was really good. Definitely sort of slow especially on 4s. Like really slow. I’m going to change the gearing and hopefully there’s some improvement.
