I just bought a Pelikan 400, which, if I understand correctly, is an older model than the M400. I got mine in the brown and black. So far, I’m enjoying it quite a bit. I think your white is lovely.

Great video. I recently acquired this very same pen, and like you have small hands. I however tend to have a death grip clench of my pens so the small size of this pen (and my Sailor PGS) is uncomfortable for long writing sessions. Esties are my most comfortable pens to write with.

However I use them, vertically or horizontally, I do know I need weeks in my life. I did have to buy a supplement for my A6 hon because I need that visual for me. My stack is quite smaller (hobonichi A6, a leuchtturn 1917 for my journalling and a moleskine for my commonplace book) but I am going to add a traveller's notebook to collect memories about the shows/concerts I go to. I also like the tomoe river s paper, I haven't had the issues other people seem to have had.

Ahhh this unboxing came at the right time because I have a BK cart going rn and an order filled with these La Dolce Vita goodies too! I recently gifted myself the TN Prada passport with the charm for my birthday, and she's GORGEOUS✨ I would love to see what BK Yours Truly creation you design! I'm so tempted by that service they offer 😭
@linedmusings16 күн бұрын
Ohhh may I ask where you purchased your TN Prada passport? I've been searching everywhere but it seems the prices have gone up!
@ghostedromantic16 күн бұрын
@@linedmusings I can't pretend I didn't pay quite a bit of money for it, but I made sure to get the best deal I could find (I think I ended up paying nearly $200 less than what I see it going for now 😭 the prices on OOP TNs can be astronomical! but I do find that they can fluctuate too). I found an eBay seller that was actually very local to where I live, and she happened to have both the passport size AND the charm and gave me a deal on the both of them. I gave myself the excuse of it being a birthday gift to myself; I really hope you can find one!! It's frustrating to wait for prices to get back into the sweet spot 😭😭

The illustrations from La Dolce Vita are so nostalgic! They look like German childrens' book illustrations from the 1950s (which might be a bit niche but my mum was born in 1950 in ,at the time, West Germany and it reminds me of her books and even her own journals that she kept at the time). My partner's hobby is leather working so all my covers are made by him, but the baum kuchen ones are very nice! Looking forward to the mid-year techo kaigo.

I like this way more than travel company but am unable to find it. The fact that my €200 pen has some added security when I put it inside my bag is such a relief that I can’t get with the travelers company, I always keep my pen in a separate box thus increasing the total footprint and friction while writing, cloth I feel would also be much nicer to hold. And lastly it comes with so many pouches in built that I had to buy in TC separately.

your aesthetic and vibe is exactly how i would love to set up my hobonichi weeks next year (i take notes on youtubers that are doing things i would like to carry over). i go back and forth on using the the string bookmarks on my planners but i would miss them if they weren't there. how long does it take you to set up your planner in real time?
@linedmusings29 күн бұрын
Aww thank you! Setting up my planner and migrating my tasks in real-time probably takes about 30 mins. Depends on what decorative elements I'm adding and how indecisive I'm being, haha. Without the decorations, the actual functional parts of the planner take around 10-15 mins to update and set up.

Isn’t it funny how planning/journaling has muscle memory?? I feel so lost when the momentum from a vacation interrupts the monthly setup. Also, new PET tape always makes it into my journal first 😂 my older PET tapes are still waiting to be used again 👀

4:05 to say you fussy cut PET tape for _your_ planner for your viewer’s benefit, comes off as quite arrogant. the video could easily be skipped through if that were the case, and you decided to record yourself cutting out tape. it’s really not beneficial to anyone watching your setup video if you do or don’t precut your tape. 🤷🏽

Ok then. My intention was for people to not have to skip through the video, but also of course it helps me out too as I am under less pressure for time. I did not mean to be arrogant in any way.
