They are beautiful, but this is a sad situation in this European country. People have been giving these bears food from their cars, and it seems to be allowed by the authorities. These bears are not hunting for food or foraging for plants in the forests the way they were meant to, nor are they teaching their young to do so. The young have been learning to go to the road to get food from humans. Now, if the people stop feeding, that generation of bears won’t have this food, and may go looking for the humans whom they believe are supposed to be giving them food.
