Loved your video, great job! I just changed out all my hangers and finally organized by category and colors. It’s a bad sign when I had to dust off clothes that I haven’t worn in who knows how long. I liked that you set a number goal. I think I’m going to speed declutter by 20s this week.

What helped make me was reverse decluttering. Instead of looking for what I could get rid of, i looked for what I really wanted to keep. If it was a maybe, I tried it on. If I still wasn't sure, i put it aside in a "quarantine bin" to be decided about in 6 months.

I’ve decluttered once this year and now I’m on round two right now. I hold it and if I get an ick feelings it’s gone, if I try it on and it doesn’t fit right or the fabric feels weird it’s gone. I’m taking Polaroid pictures of things I love but don’t serve a purpose anymore for me and say good buy to the item.

So I went backwards lol watched your second part where you donated 50 items and it totally encouraged me to go do 20. I was being nice to myself 😂.... But honestly was hard. But I've been working on getting rid of clothes for years so I definitely have made big strides. Hoodies and jeans are my kryptonite. Got rid of three jeans and a hoodie though this time. Anyways thought I'd let you know it encouraged me to fill a full garage bag to donate. Went above my goal even though it was tougher then I thought it would be

My mom used to make her bed w our family cat inside the sheet! our cat would legit sleep with a fitted sheet and bedspread over her! A big lump in the bed! It was the cutest thing! Hope your ankle feels better! ❤

I feel this so much. I have clothes in a range of sizes as I've gained and lost weight over the years. My main problem pile is my "for best" clothes. The most beautiful of my clothes and hardly ever worn, as they are too OTT for everyday and also probably don’t fit, but I can't bring myself to chuck them out because they're too lovely. 🥺

bahahaha your cat "helping" you make your bed is adorable and entirely relateable! i may have made the bed over my cat once or twice, leaving a purring little lump in the middle. She always finds her way out!

The eureka moment I had seeing you use that lint roller on your bedside light! I’ve got three wall lampshades that are covered in dust, that refuse to be dusted by any cloth or long handled duster. Just tried doing it with a lint roller and it is cleaner now than when we moved in 😂 Thank you for the tip! And enjoyed the rest of your video! Might try taking off the glass off my pictures as well!
