For better control and to not fall off. Most older people are not good at regular bicycles.

I had a fall on ice, resulting in TBI too. Haven't been on a bike since, and I have a good one. I'm looking for something like this until I get my confidence back. 🙂 You're an inspiration...others won't be scared if they see you winning!

I am 49. I am recently disabled and have issues getting off bike. You do what you have to do. Screw everyone else. Right now I have a new SE big Ripper sitting in my living room. All I can do is look at it and wish. I am going to get something like this to get me on that bike.

Wonder if this would work for winter commuting in icy conditions for experienced cyclists (on the occasional patch of black ice even veteran cyclists hit the deck). Only needs to be enough to survive a split second wobble and you'd probably be alright.

Agreed absolutely, black ice can case a 2-wheeler to IMMEDIATELY slip under you and these wheels will help.
