Not an over reaction, as some might suggest. Well done to you for understanding the seriousness of the situation. You're still alive and we're all very proud of you.

Its now an obsolete setup. Use a bluetooth zello button from ali express instead.

Well done, brother! It was almost perfect landing. You have to be able to endure a bit of pain when landing if you're flying!

Lawson should certainly be excluded for that. 1) if Palm-Toft hadn't moved over to avoid Lawson, he would've been collected by him - its not right to expect a rider to have to be put into the fence to force an exclusion, of course he would try & avoid a clash. 2) Lawson forcing Palm-Toft wide, caused him to lift into the fence

What a wonderful flight with fabulous views of beautiful coastline on a gorgeous sunny day. Amazing! I'm looking to take up paramotoring but your pure paragliding videos make peaceful flying without a motor look so enticing and enjoyable. I wonder if my used BGD Wasp could do flights like yours? It does have weight ranges for both types of flying.

Hello, very good video, thanks for sharing. I am waiting for my insta360 that arrives here in Argentina in 1 month. Check your video with the external microphone, the two channels do not sound, only the Right Channel sounds, when you use the wireless mic? Is it a editing error or is the microphone only on the right side? When you use the camera's microphone, the two stereo channels are heard perfectly

@@SteveShovlar ok Steve many thanks...not done a beach landing yet ...I was just thinking if the wind was bang onshore IE 90 degrees to the beach to land into wind you'd be facing the sea and might end up a bit wet if you misjudged it but I guess you could just turn into wind at the last second...or if the wind is cross on just land like you did Thanks again

Do you have a link to that wireless mic setup? Sounds easier than what I've been playing with - a separate mic / recorder for sound and then need to put the sound back in afterwards in post processing. Also, the touch of outside brake is probably just a habit you picked up to flatten the turn - or to 'touch' the outside wing when thermalling to feel pitching. It's good to play with it though and see what feels most efficient for each type of turn. Efficient roll control is more important than what your arms look like. You can access different parts of the brake fan more or less depending on whether you put your arm out, keep it next to the riser or bring it inside the risers. That's why acro pilots favour 'free' brakes to give even more access to different sections of brake fan. It can be quite effective on the inside brake to get a flatter turn - or conversely a more playful turn using more of the tip. There are no rules - experiment with it - especially in weak lift.

@@SteveShovlar Thanks, I watched it. The Rode mic is quite expensive but worth considering. I'm going to stick with separate audio recording for now. I also like the camera to be waterproof for SIV training over the lake.

Well no. Partcularly when I'm soaring with others I stick my arm out sort of like a turn signal out the window of an old car. Sometimes I open and close my hand to make it blink lol. You got to have fun in the air... It's a great way to telegraph your intention to turn especially if the people you're flying with know you and your wee habits. So try the blinking hand manouvre next time Steve and have fun this summer. Autumn here in the colonies and the season is nearly over.
