None of the push 3 reviewers have mentioned the surface finish. Is it the same TPE rubberized surface used on the Push 1 and Push 2? If it is, this surface deteriorates to a sicky gummy mess. Researching this on the net, only to find its the same for other owners. The surface breaks down over time in normal light. There is no known solution, short of removing the surface with rubbing alcohol.

Can you assign tempo to a scene or is it global per session?
@dairyisfine
@dairyisfine Жыл бұрын
Not sure about doing it from the Push itself, but in Ableton you can assign tempo changes to certain scenes
@fanusamurai

cannot be done from Push yet, but if you assign tempo changes to scenes in Live and send it to Push, they will work.

Hey! Can you select several notes and move them by grid?
@fanusamurai
@fanusamurai Жыл бұрын
You can select all notes, because there's a "select all" option in clip edit (where you see the notes of the clip). Then, you can move them thru "nudge" knob, which I think is more of a fine-nudge and not based on grid. But in a nutshell, can select all notes and tweak their position/velocity/pitch/length (off the top of my head).

If you don't need MPE, and you don't need standalone, I wonder if there is any value in getting the Push 3 base model if you already have Push 2?

@@Mikas_Emil Right, and my non-official guess is that it never will. It just isn't realistic at all, opening up the system for hundreds and hundreds of plugins that Ableton wouldn't have any control over and getting tons of bug reports, instability etc. Best to use company resources for products they actually can control and develop!
