I hope they've used this in the new batch of mp7se. Can this part be ordered? If so where, and how much?
@marchcomposer225722 күн бұрын
Hi, thank you for your question, I am not sure about that. But the online store that I mentioned in the description seems to have most of the parts available. Unfortunately in the USA it's hard to get spare parts for Kawai.

Hey thanks for the tutorial. What about the arpeggios starting measure 32, are they fairly easy to learn?
@marchcomposer2257Ай бұрын
Thank you for your question - Those measures starting from the 32 is the easiest part to play. I have not done that part yet, but if you're studying to play this piece I would gladly continue the tutorial and show how to play those.
@valentinvoigt3038Ай бұрын
@@marchcomposer2257 That would be awesome! I'd love to learn this piece but have been hesitant because of that part. But if you say it's easy, I'll give it a shot. Thanks a bunch!
@marchcomposer2257Ай бұрын
@@valentinvoigt3038 You absolutely should learn this fine melody! Remember every piano composition is possible to learn and play ( with possible exception is Lizst :) , buy even then you just modify the hard parts and can still play it ) I will continue with the tutorial.

Valentin, I have recorded the part that playes those 4 measures starting with #32, please take a look I think you find that part quite easy to play kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7inks-E27icZp8.html

I finally did the repair!. It went very well on a CN37, thanks to this guide! Warning: Some internal layout details were slightly different. My only suggestion : 1. Have a separate screw jar for each step of disassembly. 2. consider taking the console off the stand as Step 0.

Excellent! I'm happy it went well for you. Appreciate good suggestions √ !

Awesome video!!! I bought a Kawaii CN34 13 years ago...during that time I've replaced the key contacts with a brand new board twice, once 10 years ago and the second time tonight.. The first time it was covered under warranty...only like 3 years into owning it, it some keys got louder. The tech said, "oh this happens from time to time, you don't need to replace the board just take off the contacts, clean them out and reseat it and it will be good as new" but he went ahead and replaced the board anyway. After that first board change, I've cleaned the contacts multiple times myself to save the cost of hiring someone to do it....the fixes never lasted more than a few weeks at most. And recently, I had notes that would sometimes not sound when played in quick succession. they'd stop and then I'd hear a click in the board and they'd start playing again. Recently I have some notes that have stopped playing all together. Which brings me to tonight's activity...replacing the board.... again. I used the German site to order the new board. Your instructions were fantastic...I was half way thinking about filming my own video because the last time I did this, there wasn't really a good video that went into great detail. I was soooo happy to find this. The only thing I would add is that (at least on my CN34) there is a small cable on the right hand side of the key assembly that connects to the little red power light. Each time I've removed the board I've forgotten about it, but luckily it popped out. I love my CN34's sound and action...but man, this is really an abysmal design for a keyboard that with moderate to heavy usage by the player will create problem. Hopefully the new board design is an improvement...I guess we'll see if I'm back on this video 2 years later replacing the board again lol. Thanks for your contribution!!!

update, the replacement went smoothly and the piano is playing better than ever now! Also just an update for anyone that is doing this replacement with a CN34: There is no 2 wire port on the new style board to receive the plug from the little red light in the front right of the piano. No biggie, it just doesn't light up when you turn on the power, no impact to functionality of the keyboard.

Thank you so much for this video. Update: there are now *2* stores selling this part, one in the UK, and one in Germany. I wrote to Kawai (USA) to ask about availability, but haven't yet heard back.
@marchcomposer22577 ай бұрын
for some strange reason I find Kawai USA the most customer unfriendly . Even the techs I contacted before they're really taking long time to respond. I surmise they too are having a respond issues with Kawai USA. It's quite surprising to be honest that Kawai would be such a doozy in customer service.

This is such a well made video. I dont even have a kawai, i was just trying to learn what the different models looked like inside and this was exactly what i needed. Thank you for doing this!

Thank you for the feedback, I figured i've been replacing these every so often, perhaps someone else is having the same issues i have been having for a long time, and this would help them replacing the contacts.

I really like the rollicking feel you give this piece. Yours is my favorite interpretation of this on youtube. My only critique is that you're sometimes playing dotted 8th's & 16th's where the score indicates just straight 8th's.

Thank you, Steve. While I try to adhere to the original sheet music I usually modify it to the way it sounds the most groovy to my ear. Also, I want to re-record My Pet in a different version with a few minor details added. Also Wife is not impressed by the pans in the video...:)

Андрюша, я послушал эту песенку в других исполнениях - они ивсе играют в гораздо быстром темпе, но я согласен полностью с тобой - тот темп, что ты нашёл - самый подходящий !
@marchcomposer22577 жыл бұрын
