When I lived in Conowingo,I'd use the road over the Dam..in the present,those of us who don't travel 95 north or south they need to put humans in the toll booths to collect money..I have no need for a ez pass transponder and I go to other states for vacations and Maryland will not get a dime from me.

"In a half mile turn left" is the fork of Road 600 to Hwy 49 & Ahwahnee, with Road 415 to Hwy 41 & Coarsegold on the right. Further on is Hartman Cut Off coming in on the right & 600 goes on past Leland Gulch & filming ends just before it gets to Road 810, Acton Grade Road, through Bailey Flats back to 600 & Raymond or Mariposa, take your pick. Wish I was there!

7:50 Jackson's Pub. Really good bar. Great food and atmosphere. Just back home to the UK after staying in Reston for 4 days as our DC base. I was over here back in 2011 on a work course and the wife wanted to see real Americans so I brought her to Reston. This is a really chilled out town where parents play out with their young kids and families get together most nights until late evening down by the Hyatt Hotel.

There are only two states involved in these waterfalls. Virginia on one side and Maryland on the other side. West Virginia is nowhere close to these waterfalls.

Wanted to cross that bridge, got up this morning, had breakfast, got dressed and told my brother I'm goig to Maryland today, and that's what I did. Made the trip from Hampton, Virginia to that bridge, and back. It's not scary, try driving through tunnels. That's what is scary 😊
