Im sure you guys figured this out by now; these RC's are NOT waterproof. You can run them through peddles etc, however, you risk shorting out the stator/flywheel. I only run mine in dry conditions.

Anyone fitted trx4m bodies on this chassis? What mounting would work with few to little modifications.

These cars are great for beginners. You can learn to maintain it and learn rc jargon.

Agree with getting the battery in on some of these new arrmas I have the new outcast and big rock 6s and I go completely out of my mind trying to get the battery in some days !!!! Have mercy!

Was it a fried ESC? My Kraton 8s EXB lasted 5 minutes before the ESC died. My local hobby store had it fixed in half an hour! They’re legends!

Built mine late last year amazing piece of kit apart from the high and low gear changer couldn’t make it work so it’s locked in low gear. Hope you have better luck. 😢

where did you guys get the tubing for the top seal?? i cannot get mine to fit the top if i put in the tubing i have. i lubed it and everything. i have built 2 of these little M-Jet boats. i just cannot find the correct tubing to use for the top seal.

Loads of down elevator normally means its tail heavy? Possibly check your cog.

An GS02 or SCX 10.2 are already way better than a TRX-4 Very high, poor weight distribution, a very complicated chassis with too much material on the upper part. The TRX-4 has unjustified hype. It would have been branded Gmade on the box it would never have sold

i ment to say fms/fx118/cr18p-evo,s.. we dont get the ftx here in Australia we do but called the cr18p evo pro by hobby plus

their hobbyplus diffs not the fms very similar but also yours has full metal gears portals and ring and pinion where fms has metal ports but plastic ring gears same diffs as all the cr18p,s hobbyplus but they have put 10 mm portal extension shafts thats y you have the extra track in my opinion it's the best proformer 1/18 out of the box i own many fms / ftx hobbyplus a couple of axail just bearablea and one and only one shitbox traxxas trxm.. i,m a landy nut though and though and wanted the body thats the only reason i let traxxas rip me off what a pile of shit but now that beautiful body sits on a evo pro-/- utah in the UK we call them evo pro's here in aus and it a true landy now brilliant

aussie jas here its a hobby plus evo pro brushless version with the evo pro brushed version body on it and painted a diff colour.. i put the trxm landy body on mine its awesome used the rear body mount of the trx and rear bumper just drill an extra hole in chassis and dont touch the front it will clip on to the hoppy plus front bumper mount and then use a hobby plus convoy bumper looks cool and slides straight in ..front of traxxas chassis is a lot narrow a u could make it fit but the way i said works fine also i added 30 Wight shock oil and stole the spings only of the trx not the shity oil leaking shocks to allow for the weight of the body.. and boom your away with a super slow crawl and unbelievable top speed i own 26 mini with some fitted out with furitek and some hobbywing and nothing comes close to the speed of my new landy.. have fun
