Just saw Journey at Wrigley Field Chicago and hoped Deen would get to sing this tune. Unmatched talent here with the voice and drum combo. Loveit!

I was 9 years old when I bought the Journey Escape cassette at Musicland at my local mall. I got in trouble in class when I hummed this song to myself. Now, the song reminds me of nothing else but the final scene of the Sopranos.

The mindset of some white folks thinks whites are superior race to others. Arnel can sing any genre Steve Perry can't. Arnel can sing Chicago songs and Alone by Heart. He is versatile. The universe knows Arnel Pineda is the best. I won't compare him to Steve Perry they are different.

We meet Arnel in 83 at Shakers where he was singing in his band . I was on my run to be the first person to run around the world . The last time we saw him was in 2007 in Makati just before he joined Journey . His voice in 83 blew us all away and he still has it today. We love him a beautiful heart for all to enjoy.

Just to help you folks Jonathan Cain needed a power ballad on their new album in 1983, he wrote the song on a napkin on the tour bus Steve Perry recorded the song alone and in 3 takes over three days time, Steve wanted to record the song for his Solo Album ''Street Talk''for 1984, but Cain said ''no way'' many of us are either Steve Perry Fans or we like Arnel Pineda but keep in mind Without Steve Perry none of these songs would be hits like we know them He is "The Voice" and Jonathan Cain stated with his own mouth that ''Steve is in fact the greatest singer of all time'' see for yourself watch the video Jonathan Cain tells how he wrote ''Faithfully''

We were blessed to hear him in Manila in 1983. His voice was outstanding and I told him that one day the world will know him. He is a very beautiful person who has been rewarded for all the happiness and love he has given with his music. We love you Arnel the Parcell family.

Arnel wasn't with Journey in 1983 Steve Perry was the Front man from 1977-1987 and again in 1997

Arnel no soul in his voice. Deen has soul and an incredible voice. He pays tribute to SP every time he sings Journey tunes. The absolute only substitute for Perry. All that and drums too!!
