How do you save a fall if your legs open wide like if you were doing a split basically?

Just to say how grateful I am that you've taken the time to make these vids, there's so little out there on how to develop on a slackline. I'm 72 live in the uk and this is my third year on the line, I have one in my garden and I shall shortly be going out to try some of your exercises, i'm not expecting to get anywhere fast, but you point the way to take it, so thank you Buddy. All the best, Joe.

Thank you so much! It's so hard to find a video on how to get down from stilts for some reason. And it was really scary trying to figure it out myself the first time. Now I feel way more confident. Emergency exit is pretty cool and that was the main thing I was looking for.

Terrible advice that’s a good way to tear your knee

these stilts have rotating ankle joints, so it relieves any pressure on the knees when twisting. Good looking out for safety though!

It's easy to forget that you can still bend your knees while wearing stilts.

Thank you very much. I've been stilt walking for just a few days and have got walking down, but I've never known what to do if I fell. It's for a clown costume this Halloween. This is very useful information and makes feel less stressed about stilt walking. Can't thank ya enough.

what’s your favorite way to get down ?

Hi, I really enjoy using different objects like the chair or couch or vehicle to get down. As long as the object is stable, I feel safe and it’s fun.

I will never own stilts but I needed to know how people get up after they put them on. I was just so curious how it's even possible. And this taught me everything 👍

These stilts have a rotating ankle ball joint, reducing any pressure on the knees and allowing rotations to happen Thru the ankle rather than the knees. Thanks for the concern.

Thanks for the concern, but these stilts have rotating ankle cups, meaning as I twist, the ankle piece twists, taking any pressure off the knee.

Do you balance on balls of your feet or the arches of your feet while standing in exposure?
@SLACKROBATS3 жыл бұрын
I balance on the bottom of the balls and top of the arch. So not in the middle of the arch more towards the toes, but not quite on the balls

I see potential for lots of knee injuries...
@SLACKROBATS3 жыл бұрын
I definitely recommend wearing knee pads to minimize knee impact. Also some of these options may not be recommended if you already have knee injuries or are limited in your flexibility. Lastly the foot pads on these stilts rotate, which allows a lot of mobility. Thanks for looking out.... Safety First
