I love how he said yes to the interview, and then is like this

Interviewer did a good job here. Frank seemed aloof or even hostile at the beginning but seemed more relaxed after he got a laugh out of her.

It really makes him look like someone with Low IQ, constantly showing himself as the best thing out there, plus 99% of the people I talk to about him don’t know who he is!!! Most people don’t know who he is, and he acts like he’s the best, a good musician who’s arrogant doesn’t mean he’s the best or known, I’d love this guy if he was a humble human being, but unfortunately he’s got his head up his arse over things that the world doesn’t even know about, so much mouth, so unfortunate with someone with talent, maybe he should have taken drugs so that way it would have sorted his brain out, a real pity the attitude on this big mouth looser

The only person in a Zappa stage set who was allowed to hit a wrong note was Zappa himself, but for that he can always be forgiven. A musical genius through and though.

Even Frank was not immune to the funky wardrobe of the 80's. If I ever had to pick an un-Zappa shirt, that might be it.

It's remarkable how 40 years later you can listen to this interview, change "Mtv" for "social media" and it has just as much meaning today as it did then.

i wish more people today would listen to guys like frank, weve definitely fallen back into the 80s, havin all the cocaine you can stick up your nose, and a chainsaw to chop up your hotel room with, girls wearing leather things with really pointy things sticking out of them, they can have that if they want, thats just nothing to do with music...
