I don't understand, if it is not a blu-ray, what type of disk is in this release? It cannot be DVD because it would not support 4k, so what type of disk is this?

So most new release 4Ks are also Bluray combo packs. This only came with the 4K and no bluray. Making this set less valuable to some people, especially for it being an almost $40 CAD release, which is why I pointed it out.

I have no problem with resellers looking for stuff to flip. They should be entitled to whatever finders fee is built into their markup. It takes time and effort to find some of the more valuable stuff. I've personally supported a few different canadian based resellers on eBay.

Swede here. Just bought mine, and there are two discs inside. One has all the 4k, HDR, Dolby etc on it (looks like yours) and then there's a yellow disc that only says Dune part two. Update: Yes, the second disc is the normal full HD version.

The Goodwill locations by me price typical blu-rays at $3.29 and DVDs at $2.29 unless they are a boxset or a TV series. Thanks for the chuckle saying that they have a sealed copy of Van Helsing at 2:44

IF was out at my Walmart on Monday, but not Furiosa. My Walmart has really stepped up when it comes to bluray and Dvds. It's better organized than before and it's restocked on a regular basis.

It won't be long until Walmart's stop selling movies in Canada entirely. The Walmart's that you went to were still okayish but man.. some Walmart's, especially around my way are worse. Not enough people are buying and the prices are just too high for these new releases, especially 4k's.

Yea, I usually tend to shop at Walmart cuz their MSRP is the lowest compared to other retailers. So it’s sad to see it being dwindled down to the state it has become.

I’m sorry but the fact Cameron pulled the “mother’s basement” argument proves how bitter he is when he has to sink that low. I agree with you The Mockbuster, they’re physical media and are going it be criticized no matter what. I’m just feel bad for fans like you who gave it constructive criticism but he attacks everyone and lumps them into one fanbase. Cameron just comes off as real bitter and cruel with statements like that.

You want to say everyone's overreacting, they need to touch grass, etc., fine. Say that. But you and I both looked at these new releases. We saw how terrible and shit they looked. Don't try to tell me that it looked good; it looked like shit. If you thought that shit looked good, that's absolutely insane. If you thought that what ended up getting released was better than what it would have looked like if they just scanned the film, adjusted the colors, and whatever else a straightforward remaster does, then you're off your rocker. Don't give me "hey that's just your opinion man." It looked so ghoulishly, abhorrently godawful.

What brand of plastic sleeve is that? So many of them are too big / I have yet to find the snugger ones. I actually have been using a slightly thinner Steelbook case to protect the 4k slips but it’s expensive and taking up so much extra room on the shelf
