DTNVS met 2100+ FOM dual tubes zijn wel beter qua FOV dan één tube voor je zicht. Plus, DTNVS zijn lichtgewicht vergeleken met twee PVS-14. De DTNVS kan je ook flat stowen op je helm.

seems to me that the typical foil coated Mylar food storage bags would work and will be a whole lot simpler.

No, a Mylar bag will not serve as a Faraday bag against an EMP. A Faraday cage / bag is typically composed of a conductive material such as aluminum or copper, and Mylar is not a good enough conductive material. Try it out and youll learn.

That's why I store my handheld radios in Faraday bags. My phones are like mini computers; I have stored a library on an SD card, so I can read it on one of the phones, or we can use it as a small entertainment system for watching movies. And yes, we also have printed versions of the library. It's much easier to carry a small device that has the entire Wikipedia than having over a hundred books to carry.

@kevinkoekje5 ай бұрын
I have some freeze-dried meals in my food pack, mostly for breakfast. If I only have those, then I need to bring a lot of water to rehydrate every meal I've got. With the MRE, as it's stated, it's a meal ready to eat, even if it's not warm. Unlike freeze-dried food, where most items need to be steamed or reach a point of warmth to be rehydrated properly.

@richardjames69475 ай бұрын
Excellent. Thank you. The only thing I would do/have done differently is to use relatively thin bubble wrap to create a little additional distance between the electronic item and the sides plus I use a gold foil for the innermost and a copper foil for the outer and wrap everything with aluminum foil. The gold and copper foils are not expensive but make sure they are real or genuine. A metal garbage can, safe or ammo box are good as well but put a little Electrically Conductive Epoxy or Silver Adhesive where the lids/doors make a seal.

If you do don't cover it with duct tape. Reflective shiny surfaces are more effective in blocking higher frequency 4 and 5g signals, which are best to deflect than to absorb and disperse. The shinier the better.

What if you just use one bag, would it receive a signal?
@kevinkoekje7 ай бұрын
If you use just one bag, it should effectively block signals, but the level of protection might not be as high as using two bags. The dual-layer design is intended to provide an extra layer of security by minimizing the chances of signal leakage. However, using one bag should still provide a significant level of protection against unwanted signals. The more barriers, the better; thicker is also preferable.
