Well, to be honest, I was browsing covers and was inspired by the music and having seen the renders of the scene from a while ago I decided to combine them both. In fact, most of the video teasers and trailers I make were simply inspired by the music.

There isn’t, sadly this is just my vision of what could be.. they were interested in developing a live action version but seems they were afraid of the connotations to racism and colonialism

Nope, pretty sure Disney announced a while back Pocahontas was one of the few movies they weren’t doing.

The Pocahontas-movie is very controversial because of its historical incorrectness. I think they therefore not want to make a remake and I understand that. Maybe Disney can make new movies about Native Americans. They have a rich culture and mythology: there must be something in it what could be a (Disney-)story.

I know, rather unfortunate really since its story and themes would adapt more easily to the big screen..

I wish but no, it was rumored to be planned for development at one point but officially the story is that Disney feels it would be a waste since the original 2001 release did not do financially well at the box office, despite its cult following in later years… Perhaps someday tho, maybe we could start a petition? Who would you get to direct?

Ana de Armas has nothing to envy Monroe, absolutely nothing, she did not have such an unhappy life, she has a natural beauty, natural hair, perfect teeth, and she does not have any mental health problems. Having happiness, being simple, modest and with character is more important than being a world famous icon. In my opinion she is much prettier than Monroe. The life of work and sacrifice that is lived in Cuba has taught her to be a warrior and to win the sympathy of her fans. It is not very nice to be racist and much less to discriminate people for any reason. She doesn't speak English perfectly, ok, i Understand , but neither do we speak perfect Spanish, or French, or Portuguese, however she does speak it perfectly.
