this comander can do much more with combos like: zada/beamplitter/feather + Galvanic Discharge / Harnessed Lightning, you can generate houndred energys for ~2 red mana if you running things like young pyromancer.

i think this is the set people are going more creative with commanders, the group houg turns into a group slug, the enchantment goes into a vehicle commander and the "procreation" commander goes as an artifact storm. i'm willing to make zinnia an infinite combats/turns when i put my hand in him

Yeah this is how I play her. Have like 28 one cost spells, double strike givers and finest hour is like my only high costing spell. It's actually toxic.

If a commander is in a graveyard or in exile and that card was put into that zone since the last time state-based actions were checked, its owner may put it into the command zone. If a commander would be put into its owner’s hand or library from anywhere, its owner may put it into the command zone instead. This replacement effect may apply more than once to the same event

Yes that’s why mindslaver works you get control of that decision of what they want to do when state based actions are checked and the commanders state isn’t checked again unless something happens to the commander to change its state of play. Which can’t happen because it’s in exile

@@MercilessMF But you don't since you're not the owner. You may be controlling them but you don't ultimately decide where the commander goes.

Its like with 'targets'. The rules say 'the owner DECIDES', and mindslaver specifically calls for 'DECISIONS', so the owner decides, yes, but you control them during the decision, so in the end its up to you if their commander stays gone or not :) - 718.5. While controlling another player, a player makes ALL choices and decisions the controlled player is allowed to make or is told to make by the rules or by any objects. This includes choices and decisions about what to play, and choices and decisions called for by spells and abilities.

rabbits with the offspring mechanic would work, as they create tokens. however, just going rabbit tribal doesnt really synergize with Baylens effects as he sadly cannot use nontoken creatures for anything good

yeah this is one of those commanders that grows your character. i started with azorious control back in the day, but once you feel and realize how everyone is just miserable because of you, you start to look at other options.

Volatile Stormdrake is very fun but a couple things to keep in mind: It's not a may so you MUST exchange with an opponent if there are any legal targets. This means if all there is on the field is an Omnithopter you HAVE to trade your drake for it. The other caveat is the way the delayed sac trigger works. Since it says to sacrifice it at the end of your next end step but you no longer control the drake copy you cannot sac. What ends up happening is your opponent gets to keep any drake copies you create that swapped with their creature. Just keep that in mind.

I have this precon still built... it has like 2 or 3 infinite combos baked into the precon itself, commander+aether refinery+Amped raptor... just need Commander+Amped raptor to survive the the first combat phase, then you just keep swinging with tokens and commander, throw a rogue's passage or some way to make the commander unblockable for a turn
