6.0 still considered worst diesel from ford ? i know folks love 7.3L 6.7l etc.... lmk
@816DieselАй бұрын
No 6.4 is hands down the worst, 6.0s are next due to their common faults, but at the same time there are still millions on the road and people live their performance, but the truth is all 15yr old diesel will need headgasket/turbo/trans/general maintenence regardless of make. 6.7 is the most reliable power for ford, great engines, 7.3s are hard to kill and very well respected in a close 2nd place.

U guys use the pucks for leveling kits?? How do they ride?
@816DieselАй бұрын
Not bad if you stay around 2, when you step up to 3 and put big wheels on you definitely loose some factory smoothness, if you are dead set on retaining factory smoothness look into 4/6in lift kits and do it right for ideal drivability.

On the E350 7.3 Van I removed the top idler pulley, and unbolted the AC compressor to have room for the O’Reilly fan clutch removal tools. 57mm (square) on the fan bolts, 48mm on the fan nut and got her off solo from the top. Thanks for the video!

If you don't want to risk damaging the threads while pulling the pulley off, just remove the washer from the bolt that you removed, put the bolt back in and leave enough space to pull the pulley, then just put the mandrel on the bolt and pull it off. Also, you can break the balancer bolt loose without an impact wrench by using a breaker bar laid against the frame rail, and bumping the starter. I was broke back in the 70s and 80s, and we did what we had to do.

That sounds logical to me! 👍🏼👍🏼 I've gotta do mine before too much longer on my 2000 F350. She's got 214,000 miles on her nothing is wrong just going to do some PM before something does happen. 👍🏼
Quick note, the pop out clips found at top and some in middle are like the bottom clips, they pop out horizontally before you lift up the entire panel.

It's rare because it's worthless. Short beds are bad enough really, for those who NEED trucks but with a dually, it's a waste of a truck.

I know this is a couple years old. Getting ready to tackle this I think. Mine is leaking from the same spot. I do have a new dipstick tube, ATS adapter and new dipstick. I have everything out of the valley but that's because I am replacing so much stuff. I can see the 19mm from the top easily. What I would like to know is, how has the adapter worked? Is there no more leaking from that spot?
