I was fired 2 days ago from my job. The reason they state was "conduct" without any explanation. I signed a contract and I was there for almost 3 months before they fired me because I guess they didn't want me to reach the 90 day probation mark. Nonetheless, I was never suspended, documented, or ever verbally warned about my conduct, in fact I respected everyone and was a good employee. I sent an email about the wrongful/unfair dismissal and the employer called back and was on the phone with me for almost half hour saying they want to "find out what happend" Why would they call back to find out what happend and they were the ones who fired me?

No clue as to the reason they would maybe some fear of legal action being taken. It's best to just move on though. However, always have your options open and aim to be as qualified as possible, knowing most businesses are not loyal to employees but to their profit margins. Very sad to hear. I was terminated from Sutherland because My family house was burnt down. I submitted the fire report to get leave of absence. I have been in dialogue with my manager and I received an email from Hr saying I was terminated due to absence without reason which is a lie. Now I am without a job and cant help myself or my family. What should I do?

I would suggest that you contact the ministry of labour in your parish and speak to them about the situation

@@tjworld8963 yes if its less than 5 years. However if its over 5 years that you have been at the company then you should get 4 weeks notice. Based off what you have said it seems that you were wrongfully terminated Check out our latest video which speaks on the topic
