very interesting, we have bene using this in the British Army for 16+ years, we give our 9 liners first then the MIST report is given to the actual medics when we do the hand over at the HLS. Our 9-liners are a bit more stream lined as well i have to say.

What size unit does this apply to? Platoon or company?

Mass casualties are normally at a platoon or company level. Usually platoon take casualties to a platoon ccp and are moved up by priority to an axp to be brought to a company ccp run by their senior medic. From their role 1 and up as needed. Reference ranger medic handbook 4-8, 4-17

Why the hell are you applying a tourniquet on the lower part of the extremity, surely you’d make sure when publishing a video you put the correct technique in place so that monkeys who watch KZfaq to get trained don’t do the wrong thing and make the problem worse… single long bones… upper parts of the extremity..
