thanks haha, the sony av200 camera has a separate small monitor screen in a wrist watch type of thing that you can wrap around your wrist with a velcro strap, i strap it around my front brake reservoir & bars, but sometimes in the sun i cant see the picture very well when setting it up & sometimes i have the clocks in a bit too much, i dont think it looks too clever on small phone screens etc when watching my videos, but think it looks fab on tv screens haha

Good collection and well put together. Quite a thought provoking piece really. Hard for me to tell how accurate some of the perspective were. Like Mods are bored Rockers have a bit more ambition. Clearly both sides confirm that there was a perception the the Rockers were the more manly and the Mods tended to be consumers. Though as I say, these are just views clipped by the media to construct a narrative. I wasn't there.
@kennethhart842229 күн бұрын
Thanks. Yea ages ago noticed a few old bits of mods & rockers video here & there on youtube & found out there was a 1960s panorama programme about mods rockers. Had a good search to find it but couldn't. Think its lost & gone now. & eventually i got in to video editing with clichamp... microsofts free basic editor & so had a go of putting together all the bits to get an idea what it would've been like.

@@thedbcooperforum Bud Ekins built three Fonzie TR5 Triumphs that were rented to the studio. Perhaps he was wrongly told the one he tried to ride that day was the Great Escape TR6, or maybe it really was, after all the scene wasn’t used.
@thedbcooperforum18 күн бұрын
@@meofnz2320 he made the statement on a talk show..a quick search shows this.. Henry Winkler's character Fonzie on Happy Days rode a Triumph motorcycle that was also used by Steve McQueen in The Great Escape. In the movie, McQueen's character, Virgil Hilts, uses a Triumph TR6 Trophy motorcycle to jump over a barbed-wire fence at the German border. The Triumph was a stand-in for the BMW R75 that Hilts had earlier stolen from a German patrol officer In later seasons, it was a mildly 'bobbed' Triumph Trophy 500. As he could not ride, Henry Winkler says that he learned on the same Triumph 650 6T ridden (and jumped) by Bud Ekins in 'The Great Escape' and ended up stuffing it under a truck
