Dornoch was sideswiped hard by Mystik Dan out of the gate in the KYD and lost all chance. Proven ability to rerally in the stretch once headed makes him a tough out. No reason to not run it back in the Travers.

Irad is Probably Still Thinking About How He Cost MF The Belmont Win With His Over Use of The Whip in Stretch....MF Had The Momentum and Got The Lead Until Swerving Out...Irad Should Have Strongly Hand Ridden MF to Wire and He Wins Race...SL Has Talent Not a LOT of Talent...He is a Nice Closer But Overrated...People Labeling Him a "Freight Train" is so Over The Top

Listen horse racing has changed alot people are afraid to run there horses what is the triple crown u try and win all 3 races hard certainly but can be done then u have cdi breaking bafferts balls and not ketting him bring his good horses here japan goes right home if ur not going to run in these 3 races dont bother with the derby thats not what its all about if u go to the derby u should have to run in the Preakness and belmont its getting ridiculous and as far as fierceness goes hes a pretender my guys who i hang out with and bet with all left him off our tickets didnt bet a dime on him so if u allow hirses in the derby there has to be a understanding they run in all of these races if they can

The best way after 150 years every number has won except number 17, You have longshots, And favorites winning from every post position. If they wanted to fix the problem they could eliminate number 17, It's The number not the post posting, Use 15, 16, 16A 18, That would Remove the curse. Fierceness is 5 lengths better than any other horse In the field, He is 5/2 - on the morning line. The post 17, Gives him 150 /1 Odds! He has to beat the curse first then the field, The reason it's cursed The best horse in the field drew the worst post. The numbers were drawn Randomly, And he got the worst of the draw.

I didn't get a chance to make a Wood video, but I would have made the wrong choice anyway since I liked Tuscan Sky and he did nothing in the race. Back in January when I restarted these videos, I told myself I wouldn't go overboard on KZfaq since I don't make any money doing them and they can take time to put together.

@@Letswastemoney I can certainly understand. I loved Resilience only getting beat by 3 and 1.75 lengths by Sierra Leone and Catching Freedom, and that 46 he worked the other day. I bet a big exacta with Tuscan Sky and well he isn't who I thought he was. It looks like chances are the Ky. Derby winner will have come thru Louisiana. I even think Honor Marie will be in peak form that 1st Saturday in May at a price. But of course if Fierceness runs his "A" race he wins it easy imo. Track Phantom could give him a tussle. Do you have a horse you favor yet?

@@Silver_Charm_1 I thought I'd single Fierceness for sure, but Sierra Leone gave me something to think about, and I was also impressed with Just a Touch's improvement. Then again, the Blue Grass Stakes hasn't produced a Derby winner since 2007, so I need to think about that as well. I'm leaning towards Fierceness. I just need to think about it some more.

Amazing footage of the side of the grandstand sucks that your weren’t able to go upstairs to film the mural in better detail that would have been nice because in the video your only able to see half of it. But this was an amazing short video I’ve been looking all over for pictures,videos of the side of this grandstand.

I like your take on Lagynos. I scratched him but took a second look and I started to like him enough to include him on my exotics. Perhaps you can take a second look at "Time for Truth". His maiden win was fantastic. He lost his second race to a upcoming Valentine Candy in the mud. His 339 mud rating shows he is a medium mud runner. My two cents worth

I chose the San Vicente Stakes for this week's video instead. In the Jerome, I don't think Drum Roll Please will lose. He was third in the Remsen against some good horses in Dornoch and Sierra Leone, and the Jerome is a class drop. But his odds will be too low, so I'm passing on the race.

Swiss Skydiver is not a natural Speed Horse...She is capable of getting lead in some races but she is a Stalker...Her Best Races have come from off pace and stalking Close...She broke very good in Apple Blossom but She was immediately held back to stalk and in my Opinion had a GOOD trip in that Apple Blossom...She just came up Empty in stretch...She was beaten by 2 BETTER Horses than her in my Opinion...Sure She has ran some Big races that include the Preakness but She is too inconsistent and hard to Trust for me...Absolutely no idea how she will Perform today and that is my Point...Maybe she Trips out?

Hi Jack, yes , Swiss Skydiver lacks of that early speed to duel with Knick Go. She made her move and tried, but it seems he needed the race. According to McPeek he considered the race a paid workout for the Personal Ensign. Not saying she could beat Knicks Go yesterday though. I really think she ran well and we'll see the best version of Swiss SKydiver in her next race.

@@jackwoods9604 For 1/9, I expect perfection on all fronts. Concert Tour is not a star on speed figures yet, and he doesn't have 9F experience. If Caddo River isn't held back by Geroux, he could weaken Concert Tour enough to possibly lose to a closer such as Hozier, even if it meant Caddo River would lose too. Also, if Concert Tour breaks poor and Caddo River secures the lead uncontested, that could see up a situation where Caddo River wins. If I wasn't considering odds and value, Concert Tour is the best horse in the race. But what am I risking my money for and getting back if he's 1/9 with something like a win bet? I'd receive $1 profit for every $20? How much would a Concert Tour over Hozier $1 exacta pay? $5? Pick 4, 5 and/or 6 players need to use Concert Tour. Otherwise, there must be more attractive races on the card for a vertical wager.

Of all the races to Handicap this weekend, you chose a 5 horse field with a 4 to 5 standout in Volatile. There is not much to discuss here. Pick races that are competitive with big fields. The San Clemente at Del Mar today would have been perfect to Handicap. I pick *She's So Special* in that race

Point taken. If there is not a Derby prep available, we usually pick Grade 1 races since fans are more eager to discuss those. But as Volatile showed today, they are not always the most competitive races.
