Rick and Lonnie's parents are to blame. They drove their children to suicide. They were selfish. The parents I mean.

My life…😢 IMO, he still lives his life in the next. And he wasn’t promiscuous. (As far as I’ve read). All around guy.

Everyone talks abt how River is the only one who looks like his mother and not John Lee Bottom, but they forget River has a dad too. Ofc he looks like that man as well:)

I love how Kiefer respects Rivers Legacy. Whereas Will Wheaton always tries to make River look bad. Who the hell cares about Will Wheaton anyways? If it wasn’t for River Will wouldn’t have a little career he had.

I was only 8 years old when this was on TV. I remember the People magazine cover... I have been looking for this movie because I didn't get to see the whole movie, and if you remember - you only got one shot at watching a show unless you had a VCR.... Well we didn't. I have been trying to figure out what this movie was for like 30 years now. I found it and I'm so happy to have another mission checked off my list. I remember starting to watch this when he was taking the test and ran home and told her he wanted to get in bed with her and never wake up. So for all these years, I had no idea what that backstory was or anything. It REALLY completes an unfinished memory for me. I also had 4 failed attempts of my own before the state took me out of the home at 16. Threatening your kid over and over to send them away... Is FAR MORE painful than you might think - to be the kid. I just wanted someone to hear me and instead they told me what a burden I was, how I ruined their life. SMH I don't know how the hell I made it to 47. Lonie heard her mother say that she never even wanted kids... I know how bad that hurts. Especially when they are saying it TO YOU while pummeling you with fists. Watching this now, really brought back some painful memories. I didn't remember anything after they were pulled from the car, the movie still had half to go, I never knew that until being able to watch it now. I know this: If parents in the 80's were disconnected and unable to communicate with their kids - it's 1000 times worse now.

I know the movie topic is serious... The father in those yellow pants doing chicken scratches in a circle caused Mountain Dew to come out my nose.

To have that old woman gaslighting me about her hearing, possibly lying to my kids, then twisting a nursing home offer into ‘See, you want to get rid of me.’ I’d be driven mad. And what about the fire danger to my house and children the smoker posed?

Lewy Body’s dementia is the worst thing a person could ever experience going through. We just buried my 61 yr old sister in March who had developed it from being hit by a steel door. She was truly my only real support. ❤ Greetings from Boston Massachusetts Amerikkka quite obvious by this point. Vote for Trump in November Or 2024 or else we will get Hillary Clinton back. Not Kamala. This is a lie so they’re already starting to try and deceive people!!

He called the woman interviewer "Honey". He also used "Babe" for women. So he was sexist & patronizing towards women. Trouble is fans thought he was in reality like the boy in 'Empty' but he cearly wasn't as his death exposed. But even after his true nature was exposed fans still won't believe it. He tried even while dying to conceal it, telling paps he wanted to be anon, like telling interviewers not to reveal he was a chain smoker. 'Rubber Prnis' indeed. He looked awful in a lot of photos, like the bloated bleary eyed Alcoholic he would have become. He didn't look "beautiful, more bovine in a lot of photos. He looks so sly, had an evil grin sideways. He was not Danny Pope. He was Jude Bottom.

Also the “I don’t want to argue “ is narcissistic by saying they don’t want to argue it implies that they actually do want to argue and it’s manipulative or same with “we’re not having this conversation “ I had to cut off an ex “friend “ because they would do that
