There is bug with the pit method where they will try to walk into the walls even if you have completely flat floor and vertical walls. to fix this you can just place floor in the corners or around the pit or just floor the whole pit before adding them in. I just spent 5 hours trying to make this work and I finally got floor in the corners and they started eating.

I've spent hours and hours looking for this dumb door. Even with friends all split up across the map, we still couldn't find a single vegvisir. We got so tired of infested mines we sailed a regular boat into the Ashlands and fixed it along the way by jumping off on pillars and using the repair hammer a million times.

I’m betting it’s Loki, there isn’t any mention of Ragnarök but the rune stones that mention Yggdrasil cracking and breaking make me think we will be tasked by Odin to prevent Ragnarök. What if the Winter Child isn’t even the final boss but a herald of the doom to come? What if he is Loki trying to bring the Jotuns back? I’d love if the End Game for Valheim involved hunting down giants. Could end with a final climactic wave of giants, defeating the sons of Muspel and defeating Surtr.

How do I play on a server that has other players? This game is very good, but the world is too big for just one person?

I was never particularly invested in Valheim's lore, the runestones always seemed like the bare minimum effort at worldbuilding, the quotes of the claimed heads cheap lines to give you a sense of having accomplished something and having defeated someone of consequence. To me, the game made it abundantly clear that we are Odin's hitmen, sent to put down anyone who refuses to bow to him. And yet, having listened to you, there does seem to be something going on, something more than a weakly implied story, something that might actually be interesting. Loki's fate (and that of every god) is sealed in Ragnarok, so anyone we meet has to be someone without a significant role to play in Ragnarok. Hell, it could be Odin's other eye, the one he sacrificed in Mimir's well. If Ymir's bits could become the world, it's not a stretch that Odin's willingly sacrificed eye dropped into a deeply suspicious well would take on a life of its own.

Stone circle are not a proof of previous civilisation but rather and abandoned mechanic .. at first the dev wanted these stone circle to be the o ly place where we could build teleporters but they scrapped the idea and the ston remain this is why u cant damage them at all ...

I remember sitting down after the update and filling out the wiki with all the runes, im glad you made this video too, now people who dont read the runes or the wiki can understand the lore as well

This seems pretty cool, although I would be hesitant to try it out myself. There seem to be so many rules to follow that don't apply to vanilla Valheim, so I would probably upset other players because of ignorance. It is still interesting to watch even though I can't understand that one blonde character with the squeaky voice at all :D probably gonna follow the next stream to see it in real time

My money is on the child being a sort of decedent of Ymir, maybe even a reincarnation. he was unwittingly trapped in Valheim and now is looking to conquer the realm and unite the worlds that was once the corpse of their forebear.

Loki is the bastard son of a God and a Jotun, half brother to Odin. Would not be surprised if that somehow is intertwined with the Valheim lore.

Very nice video, and interesting thoughts at the end. It got me thinking about the loose ends in current biomes and how they could relate to the endgame. I come to the conclusion that the endgame will all be about Angrboda, the "bringer of grief" (and love-interest of Loki). My thoughts: - The Deep North is not a regular expression, otherwise it would be Far North. The name Deep North is a well-considered name by the devs. I believe the North will literally have depths. It makes sense that the freezing depths of the North will be Helheim. The Winter Child might refer to Hel (the winter child of Angrboda or Loki). - The cult of the Wolf is a strange name for the mountains update. Sofar the cultists are a loose-end that can easily be negated. According to the title they worship the Wolf. Yes, the cave markings say that they cultists manage to transform into wolves. But the Wolf is still missing. The obvious candidate is Fenrir. So the game hints at Hel and Fenrir. They are brother and sister and have another brother: Jörmungand, the Midgard Serpent. Well, how about that ocean update that will be included in a future update? Valheim Serpent WIki already refers to Jörmundgand. Thus the children of Loki and Angrboda all play a role behind the scenes. Will they play a prominent role in the next update? And will Loki or Angrboda be present? I opt for Angrboda because her role can be connected to the presence of the giant remains in the mistlands.
