Looking at the wear on those timbers, that bridge is indeed quite old!

Not that old. Those are modern timbers. Looks like 100lb rail, if that.
@CMGOUTDOORSADVENTURES2 жыл бұрын
Do u mean 100 years modern 0r 50?
@cody82172 жыл бұрын
@@CMGOUTDOORSADVENTURES I'd say less than 50, maybe even 30 or less. It doesn't look like rough cut lumber. It's fine cut, and some of it looks weather treated. The bolts are fairly modern too.
@cody82172 жыл бұрын
@@CMGOUTDOORSADVENTURES a little more research shows some pictures others have taken of this bridge. Apparently it's part of the safety track, or runaway track.
@CMGOUTDOORSADVENTURES2 жыл бұрын
Could be,? I think the last time this track was used was in early 90's?

But it's completely grown over now can't even walk down tracks with cudzoo and saplings

Around 100 yards but there's no evidence that it ever connected with the actual tracks its all grown up. We'll from salauda to mellrose the tracks are about covered up by kudzu and sampling trees
