UNICEF MICS
Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) Programme of UNICEF
Over the last two decades, more than 360 Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) have been conducted in 118 countries, generating data on key indicators on the wellbeing of children and women, and helping shape policies for the improvement of their lives.
Household surveys, such as MICS, are a crucial part of national statistical systems and are indispensable in measuring progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). MICS cover a variety of topics on child wellbeing, including: maternal and child health; nutrition; gender; child development; child protection; education; disability; and water and sanitation, among others.
