I freaking love him! Smelly is one of my absolute favorite people! Watched the Backstage Pass and couldn't believe how many people didn't acknowledge him. I saw him at the FINAL SHOW in Austin (the beginning of the end) and he was so damn nice when we said hi to him and he told a friend he liked his jacket! Genuinely a nice dude :)

That interview was moving. 😢. I really hope that Greg have beaten down the health issue. Pray for him. Congratulations to you both, parenting might be responsibility and learning by love. By the way, at Facebook Greg accepted me in his friend list, always replied, very cool guy, his family looks amazing. Since 2013 I got a tattoo of H.D. logo on biceps, " New Day Rising" is on the list of albums all my neighbors heard more even not wanting hehe. God help you both. Thanks ! 🌄🍀🌅

As a musician, I've always found it fascinating that we can put down our instruments for years at a time after having made music such a huge part of our lives (as Greg did) , and then one day decide to pick it up again...

Having kids after 50 is an act of selfishness. Youre not going to be there for them when there young adults doing life. Unless you're in super great shape, you're not going to even be active or hike with them when theyre teens. Lame. Not rad. Lame meaninglessness procreation.
@RadDadsShow
@RadDadsShow 11 ай бұрын
If your only measure of good parenting is how long you’re alive, then sure. I get your point. But I would argue that it’s about love first, and how much positive impact you can have on your child during the time you do have together. Young or old, no one knows how long that is. This is an oversimplified take and what’s selfish to me is assuming your kid’s life is all about you.
@SlearBlaneheart
@SlearBlaneheart 11 ай бұрын
@@RadDadsShow Um, no. You can calculate to a fairly precise degree what your lifespan will likely be. If you have kids at an age that you cannot guarantee that you'll even be around for them in their late teens or early twenties, when they will still really need you emotionallyand financially, you're a selfish asshole who simply didn't want to pull out. If you've already had kids in an earlier relationship, and then bring yet more humans into an overcrowded world to soothe your ego, you're even worse.. It has nothing to do with love whatsoever. Can't polish this turd, sir.

I don’t agree with your take. He’s already completed the main task of raising them and laying the foundation for them to go and live a virtuous life. Job is done. The rest is lagniappe. He was a huge influence on his daughters, raising them alongside their mother. That’s the best of both worlds, a mom and a dad. At that age, he already had an established career, he was likely “around” more than the typical 30something dad who’s busting his ass trying to have a career.
