After a few years, I returned to the game and picked up tanking for the first time. I got to 3100 in a little over a month and a half and I can say it's a double edged sword. If you're a dps and you do a big pull and mess up your cooldowns maybe you die, it's okay. But in higher keys if you miss one button you will get one shot and the key is bricked because you'll wipe. Its kinda rough sometimes and people are so toxic. But also, when you do well and stay alive when you think you should die and time a key it's amazing.

I mained blood dk since the end of Legion, an recently in Dragonflight I switched to prot warrior. Just soo refreshing not taking damage, and the movement after the DK is nice. Charges, leaps… no more wheelchair 😃

They promised fun and gave a nerfed everything of fun. They promised OP characters and fun alt leveling experiences. They nerfed it all right before launch and said fuck you guys, play the 3 months, because our share holders need that. It could have been such a fun couple months, instead it's taking longer to level in MOP than in retail. I feel like a weak wet noodle from 65-70 and have died a billion times. how is this fun? Why do i have all these stats and "fun" gems and i feel like a weak ass bitch? This is one of the biggest misses in forever, but it's even worse cause of the lies. The manipulative advertisement of false information. This was the straw the broke the camels back for me. They can't do anything fucking right. Seriously whey does everything "Blizzard" have to be such a steaming pile of shit? How hard would it even be to let your fanbase have fun and make alts and enjoy the damn game? How do you screw this up so damn bad?

It’s not slower than retail for sure, it’s just that you cannot dungeon spam to level. Questing by far outpaces retail’s questing levelling

Hey here's a fun mode for leveling alts but you'll have to level another main before it's fast and fun. It was fun at times and got played out really fast. Ultimately I'd say it's wasted effort that took away from cata and sod.

Yeah… once you earn it and you have like 300%+ exp bonus I can see MoP Remix being faster leveling. But your first toon is legit slower than retail.

in nokhud tyranical what you can do with lust is starting on the second boss, go elemental > dragon. Same thing for uldaman tyranical, i usually do totem boss first then go back to the three dudes

I gave up on just trying to get 0s done. Nobody has a clue what to do, tanks don’t use defensives, healers are picking flowers, and dps have gone retarded and can’t dodge simple mechanics. These pugs can’t make it to the first boss in any dungeon.

My first few keys were a nightmare... Since I did not play season 1, these 4 dungeons take a bit of learning to get used to...

I would reccomend getting WA for consecration. Every time you took fatal and near fatal damage you weren't standing in consecration. Prot pala is strong but the play style can take some getting used to.

Don't forget to run the black temple raid, there is a quest giver next to the time walking badge vendor in Sharath who gives you a box that has a 502 item in it. Easiest way I've found to get a group is just in the legacy raid section of group finder.

The squish means there's way more +2s to join. Roll a tank or a healer or just run your own keys.

Day one of season 4: Getting declined for +2 keys with a 470 ilvl and being unable to even start the grind. They royally f***ed up this squish.

I've played pally quite alot and Pally is a solid choice. But I do have to dissagree with some points that you mention. Like DK can't heal themselfs? Mate a well geared DK tank is unkillable. Might just be those I've seen but they are just nuts at staying alive. Same goes with druid tanks. I can't really die on my druid when I do insane pulls, on my pally that is my main I have to sacrifice defensive (shield) for a heal and lose a buff for that time. On my druid I just ironfur and spam selfheal or regrowth on someone in the party that might have taken dmg. Tho you are such a toolkit as a pally, you can remove dots / bleed that might kill you on higher keys, like in castle nathria on mythic huntsman. You could tank one bear/dog the whole time just bubble the debuff and the fight was free. On any other tank you'd need to tankswap instead. Same with alot of the affixes you can just "nope uno reversecard" it. Alot of affixes are a joke on my pally, so I do love to play it for that reason. Its going to be interesting to see how S4 plays out.

Love the video and the pick. Did something happen to the last part of the video? I played DK in S2, warrior for the end of s3 but landing on DH for season 4. I only pug and as much as I love the warrior having some group utility for pug life is hard to live without lol. Have a great one man!

Did you see how difficult it was for your warrior to do those caster packs in witherbark room? On your dh, just throw out some silence sigils followed by chain and they would be grouped up bada bing bada boom.
