I learned this song in Jr. High from our music teacher, and can still sing it to this day at age 60.

Because it's just gospel that samples a small bit of classical, it's beautiful but when doesn't our culture sing gospel well?

Does anyone have a recording of this group singing Dwijavanth by Ethan Sperry? That performance changed my life and I'd like to use the recording for some master's work. Thank you.

Two years ago when I watched this wonderful moment by this treasure of the choral art, I was floored by the example she was of the longtime tradition of our art to show care for others. This was the deepest and most thought provoking moment of the conference. This speaks to what our art is truly about. "This communication reaches us where it really counts." I am thankful for the wisdom and heart you shared Mrs. Parker.💌

Yikes! This is a surprise! I'm a singing member of this chamber choir - in this performance! This was HPPC Chamber Chorale from Dallas, TX. David Davidson was the conductor . . . later to become the director of the Dallas Symphony Chorus.

This is by far the best rendition of this song I have heard. And thats saying something. Because I've heard atleast 8-19 different rendtions. Nothing comes close to this, amount of satisfaction level at the end.

Ironically, this art form was a CENTURIES long cry for help to the Almighty by enslaved African Americans...TO NO AVAIL...who have yet to receive an apology, but instead there is a concerted effort to erase their history. Utterly evil.
