Arthur Gunn, when I re-heard this song this morning, I thought that you would love it. The singer is Joe Turner--born in what was a great blues city, Kansas City, MO, in 1911. He is backed here by the "Trumpet Kings," Dizzie Gillespie, Roy Eldridge, Harry "Sweets" Edison and Clark Terry. This will probably be my favorite songs of him I researched his song after i saw his popular song (nyano ghar saal session). my music taste/genre was kind of similar of his songs (bob dylan,neil young,nick drake etc )but never heard anyone singing this well and damn after listening pralaya at the same day i feel like yeah this is it. This is the artist that i was searching for all this years . When i first heared this song on second day mannn!!!! i was fucking blown away.The vocal style,vocal, lyrics, and video is also such a vibe.and then after pralaya B, khoj,karnlai, jalai ma ,save me now,broken birds,deha ra aatma, you are the one,ojhel and literally all of his song is god level perfection.
