I feel by pre-recorded he means that all the audio files are pre-made and that DJ's aren't actually creating music live. Most DJs play their set track by track and mix live. I mean I'm sure full pre-recorded sets happen from time to time where there is just a pre-made DJ set playing on one CDJ all show but I personally don't believe that is the typical circumstance when seeing most DJs play.

So, can you copyright a song created with Suno or Udio or is this still a grey area where there is no definite answer.

It depends on the name. Many pop or country artists use their real names, or, a basic stage name. If you're going to tell someone they are not allowed to release under their literal name because there already is a "John Tillman" that's more of a d1ck move on YOUR part. There are also many established acts with really basic names, simple words. So due to someone else being lazy and using the name "Blue Skies" now you can't? How about instead of degrading artists coming in, we acknowledge previous acts using basic names not having a right to bully newer artists into submission? If I make an artist name called Zig Zag are you going to threaten to sue me when you chose a basic term for YOUR creative name? Who's really the @$$hole in that hypothetical? There is only one Skrillex, but there could be a million "John Smiths" -- don't want someone using your name? Then YOU need to choose a unique name.

I gotta say, Ableton pisses me the hell off sometimes. It’s easy to use for the most part, but I always run into problems with automation. You can automate audio tracks all day long no problem, but with MIDI tracks, sometimes you can, sometimes you can’t and I really don’t understand why. I suppose you could just bounce it to audio and then automate it, but then you have a new track taking up more space and it’s a pain in the ass trying to redo something when you’ve bounced it to audio already. I was trying to do something recently where I had a synth lead, wanted to add some variation to the texture, so I duplicated it, changed the second one, tried to automate them so one would fade out as the other fades in, but as I listened to it back, the automation just magically went flat. And now I can’t automate that track anymore and annoying things like this really get in the way of creativity.

If I merge my KZfaq channel with my topic channel , is it possible then to delete the topic videos from my chanel ?

i have a song through distrokid and its on a topic channel which is one of the steps and then my channel already has 2 songs uploaded on it and both of the channels are my music name, but when i go to get the oac it doesn't give me an option to link my youtube channel it just says "to get started, upload some music to youtube" but i already have a song through distrokid
