Rtx 2060 S seems to hold very very well for 1080p non competive games. May be I should stick with the same until I upgrade my display to 4K and decide to game on 4K. With the i7-8700 (non K)

One thing to mention though, is that this feature is available on Turing onwards. So GTX 9xx or 1xxx series can't use this auto OC feature. It's only available from GTX 16xx and RTX 20xx

i have 2060 6Gb versionen, and you can play any game out there with QHD with high settings about 60 fps. just turn the ray tracing off, you dont need that anyways. And dont buy high ends card that is so wasted of money, overclock your card, rtx card can you easy overclock to get more fps. and play you favorit game

I'm still using a 2060 Super. I was thinking maybe to upgrade my PC for a 4080 Super, but I know that the 50 series is coming end of year or early next year so I'll just wait. I will either buy a card from the next generation or buy one from the current one when prices will drop.

Heads up to people: Don't blindly follow this. This shit way of giving advice is getting more prevalent. Dislike and move on. Not all computers, softwares, and devices are the same. The "boost" you will get it marginal, as this doesn't run 24/7 and is only "called" by your system when it needs to-- it's there because it has a purpose.

IT WILL cause issues with devices being recognised by this system.

Don't do this, I am too tired to explain it myself so I'll just give you a ChatGPT response: Disabling the "Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator" in Windows 10 generally does not have significant negative consequences for most users, but it can have specific impacts depending on your system configuration and the devices you use. Here’s a breakdown of what might happen: General Impact: Device Functionality: This enumerator is responsible for managing and associating plug-and-play devices that do not fit standard device categories. Disabling it might cause certain non-standard devices (like some USB peripherals, certain types of smart cards, or other specialized hardware) to not function correctly or at all. Driver Associations: Some drivers may rely on this enumerator to correctly identify and interact with their associated hardware. If these associations are broken, the devices may not work properly. Possible Issues: Plug and Play Problems: New devices that you plug into your computer might not be recognized or might fail to install correctly. Existing Devices: Some existing devices that were previously working might stop functioning, particularly if they rely on this enumerator for their identification and operation. Specific Scenarios: Peripheral Devices: If you use specialized peripheral devices, especially those that do not fit into standard categories (like some VR headsets, certain biometric devices, etc.), they might fail to operate. Custom Hardware: Users with custom-built systems or unique hardware setups might experience more pronounced issues, as these systems often rely more heavily on proper device enumeration. Re-Enabling: If you find that disabling this service causes issues, you can easily re-enable it: Open the Device Manager. Find the "Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator" under the "System devices" category. Right-click and select "Enable." Safe to Try: For most users, especially those using standard peripherals and devices, disabling the "Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator" might not cause noticeable issues. However, if you rely on more specialized hardware, it's worth considering the potential impacts and ensuring you know how to re-enable the device if needed. Recommendation: Before disabling the enumerator, it is a good practice to create a system restore point. This way, if anything goes wrong, you can revert your system to its previous state. To summarize, while disabling the "Microsoft Device Association Root Enumerator" is unlikely to cause major problems for most users, it could impact the functionality of certain devices, particularly those that rely on specific driver associations or are non-standard peripherals.
