I’d just redo it as soon as you want to. It doesn’t hurt anything, so the runoff isn’t an issue.

Either the CCR2000 or a 3650. A 3650 has a 6.5hp motor and literally stops at nothing. The 2000 will bog down. Facebook marketplace is where I picked up a 3650, they should be in the $200-$300 area. I should make an updated video regarding this.

@@CalebsPropertyMaintenancehow heavy is it? I have a two stage ariens already that rock and rolls, I want a small unit just to be able to lift and take places. Plus I like the 2 stroke aspect of it. Is the 3650 2 stroke also? Thank you.
@CalebsPropertyMaintenance
@CalebsPropertyMaintenance 5 ай бұрын
@@user-gl2gp6lp3h Yes, the 3650 is a 2-stroke. It’s a little heavier than the 2000 but the 2 additional horsepower make it worth it in my opinion. I can lift either into the truck by myself. We do 25 driveways with them and I wouldn’t want to lift it that many times myself, but it still can be done.

If you're still around, how's the Spreader-Mate B holding up? I just ordered the Spreader-Mate B 5 gallon version, let's hope I don't regret it with the price tag. I'm a homeowner that is obsessed with lawns 🙂. Kind of embarrassed to spend this amount of money when I don't own a lawn care business... but life is about being happy and enjoying what you're passionate about!

Amen to that! Unfortunately I gave it to a local guy just like you at the end of last season. Prior to that, I hadn’t used it much the last couple of seasons as I was too busy with landscape maintenance work. I had to make the hard decision and subcontract out the turf weed control aspect of lawn maintenance. I still do the fertilizer part but am considering letting that go to. I’ve learned it’s more efficient to stay in my lane of mowing and landscape maintenance instead of trying to do everything. I think you will be very happy with the 5gal one as 9gal is too heavy to push around. If it was self propelled, different story. Feel free to follow me on Instagram for more regular updates, although I have some plans for what I want to share on here in the upcoming season as well.

It's called a Chute Deflector. All blowers can and will at times clog the Chute when blowing wet snow. It's not the Chute design. It's trying to run too much of the wet stuff thru the chute. It's a fine balance between enough and too much. It's heavy and it won't exit the blower housing as quickly as dryer snow does.
@CalebsPropertyMaintenance
@CalebsPropertyMaintenance 6 ай бұрын
My experience was with small amounts of snow that escaped the snowblower on the first pass.
@jrpesky
@jrpesky 6 ай бұрын
Yeah that was kind of my point. It comes down to snow not leaving the blower housing with enough speed. Either because there is too much trying to exit. Or not enough. Either way it starts to pile up right at the bottom of the chute. There is not enough force or speed to eject it fast enough out of the chute opening so it tries to fall back in the housing. It is a pain in the butt for sure.@@CalebsPropertyMaintenance

I've owned my 5.0 HP (Honda engine) Little Wonder for 21 years now and have never had a problem with it. It requires minimal maintenance and is always dependable. I own 4 acres of property with only about one acre cleared. So I get tons of leaves on my property to clean-up. I started-out with a backpack blower, but it doesn't do as well as this walk-behind blower. One of the best purchases I ever made!

I got a toro CCR 2000 from my grandfathers place when we cleaned out his old house. It was sitting underneath his porch for who knows how long. It only has surface rust on the chrome handlebars and nuts and bolts. It’s a 1984 model year. It’s almost 40 years old! All the gas in the tank when I found it was gone and evaporated. And just oil remained. I drained all the oil out of the tank through the carburetor drain bolt and put fresh gas into it. It started right up but was surging because it was probably started so long ago. But it cleared up and was running smooth. The only issue was that the carburetor bowl gasket was leaking and the primer bulb was cracked and long gone. It was like $20 for a new OEM gasket for the carb so I just bought a new kit on Amazon that came with the primer, and fuel lines, filter, and carburetor for that price. And now it runs perfect. I haven’t tested it in snow because I found it in spring and fixed it over the summer. It’s currently for sale because I already have 2 snowblowers that are dual stage. I hope it goes to a good home because you can still get parts online for it so it should never die!

Yes Walker is a great machine, on one job I use a KOBOTA belly mount, could not believe what a piece of junk, you get jerked going from forward to reverse and you can't feather the pedal for smooth operation, a sore back is the result, my walker controls are absolutely smooth in fact once I thought to go over a bit to trim out a corner, it was if the machine went over and did it, well I jumped off because it shocked me but this showed me the ease of control you have with a WALKER!
