Love the video just bought this pool just curious about your backfilling in having to bury one side of mine 30” down and other side will be fully above ground with the short sides tapering up to 30 and down to nothing did u do a slurry mix or not and how is yours holding up with whatever backfill u chose thanks!
@agliem13 ай бұрын
I back filled with dirt. My soil has a lot of clay. So that has helped. Pool is doing good and still has the original liner. Will be opening up for the season in a few weeks.

Thanks for the quick response I think we are going to use dirt as Whell being in the mountains of carolina we also have very clay rich soil

Yes, this way the leaves on the ground can blow into the pool as well.

Where would you plug in the keyed power wire to this RTV?
@agliem18 ай бұрын
Hey, it’s been many years since I did the install. If I recall correctly, there is an accessory wire under the hood which is keyed power. You’ll need a volt meter or a test light to track down which wire it is.
@cumminstbd0511 ай бұрын
We just had ours installed on Thursday in a similar situation as your pool where one half of it is (or will be buried). Any issues since 2016? I'm concerned about long term issues backfilling directly against the pool. I've heard so many varying opinions about "semi-inground" pools actually being buried to a certain level.
@agliem111 ай бұрын
No issues. I need to eventually replace the liner. Hoping when I do the wall doesn’t collapse!! My soil has a lot of clay so I’m hoping it holds everything together.

Hello thank you for this video! What was that wire for that went around the pool? Where did the pump and filter go if pool is underground?
@agliem12 жыл бұрын
Wire around the pool is to ground all the metal surfaces. It attaches to a grounding rod. The pump and filter and behind the pool out of view.

I can’t recall the size thumb that I purchased. But when I was sizing the thumb I wanted to to close on the piranha tooth bar that I have installed. It fits perfect.

I am curious how your pump has held up. The voltage drop over that distance will strain the pump over time.
@agliem12 жыл бұрын
No issues with the pump. If I remember I’ll check the voltage this spring and give an update.

You are making a number of assumptions. How do you know what the circuit length is? At no point did he ever provide that info so you are just guessing. How do you know what gauge conductors he's using? At no point did he ever provide that info so you are just guessing. How do you know he either didn't do a voltage drop calculation or have someone else do it for him? Again, you are simply assuming and we all know what that makes you😆...

I see a number of comments concerned about the pool collapsing. I am an excavation and concrete guy. Wait till its dry out to replace liner. (aka... Summer). The wall will hold If its replaced when the soil is dry (not rainy spring for example), Wait till its dry out to replace liner. (aka... Summer). The wall will hold. Espcially with a heavy clay soil if its replaced when the soil is dry (not rainy spring for example). Compacted dry clay is very similar to cement and hard to cut/move even with my 8,000 lb skid steer. Wet or saturated soils will deform and move, straight sand will also. Clay mix will be solid. You will be fine. Compacted dry clay is very similar to cement and hard to cut/move even with my 8,000 lb skid steer. Wet or saturated soils will deform and move, straight sand will also. Thank you for sharing the video! I have a B2301 on the way, but struggle with whether I should have gotten a BX instead. I was right on that line. Ignore the people saying that your driveway is too small, mine is smaller than that, but I plan on clearing several neighbor/friend's driveways as well. It's always better to be plowing than shoveling, don't know what they're thinking.
@agliem12 жыл бұрын
I have since moved and sold the plow for my BX. I just use the front end loader now for snow clearing. My new driveway doesn’t allow for me to plow due to there being no way to push snow to the sides. I just pile the snow up now into large mounds.

Interesting video I have a 2019 Kubota rvt-900 and will be doing the same. My dealer did say if I installed the winch not to wire it thru the key switches as it will void the 4 yr warranty so I guess I will go direcr to the battery the video looks as though the wiring is long enough.
@agliem12 жыл бұрын
The winch draws a lot of amps when operating. You need to go direct to battery for that reason. There should be an additional wire so you can make it work off the keyed power.

*Really impressive🌾🌾 **allabout.wiki/Z254** I also purchased the optional Dual-Bagger kit to collect the grass, but have yet to use it. Primarily because the mower does such a great job of mulching so as to leave little to no grass as you mow. I also purchased a small utility trailer to connect to the back of the mower. This has been a god-send as it has allowed me to do some serious pruning and clearing of large areas in the back yard. I've been able to load up the trailer full of tools, drive them to the work-site, and when I'm done, it's just one trip back to the garage to put everything away.*

observation: Good video and good work. Gotta ask, all said and done wouldn't simple pallet forks handle most jobs.? If you are grappling all day in tight areas I could see that. Also if half the fun was making it them that aint a hanging offense. Meant nicely.

You did a great job man, very nice welds too; I was thinking about building my own thumb for my bucket as I already have the hydraulic cylinder; would just need to find enough flat stock and metal laying around to build it. I just bought a 3rd function for my bx gonna be doing an install video on it soon, also have a hydraulic top-link that I’ll be adding to the 3rd function when a front attachment is not in use.. just gotta figure out all what fittings I’m gonna need to put it all together like I want:. Not sure if I wanna run a diverter valve coming off the 3rd function or if I just wanna un-plug a few hoses whenever I wanna use the hydraulic top link vs front attachment.. not quite sure how it’s all gonna work out yet but time will tell. Thanks for your video 👍🏻 How’s it working by the way? Have you gotten a lot of use from it? Only thing I saw that I woulda changed it possibly welding on some back stops at hinge of your grapple to help strengthen it when driving it into something hard. Hope all is well!
