@@franziska3434 the national dish is definitely Nasi Lemak! There‘s also really good Indian cuisine and Chinese Malay cuisine which is very different and imo more tasty than typical Chinese cuisine

@@ASIFYOUWERETHERE_ Was here at this spot in June 1975 for my birthday. Not a tourist or a yacht to be seen. Nobody there but locals and nothing at all but a few traditional houses and a small jetty where the boat from Tahiti dropped us off.
