Find this interesting, rumour has it Frank Zappa wrote like a dis song about John and the free love thing, not sure if there's any truth to it but if you read the lyrics to "Oh no" it fits, I still love Lennon's work dearly.

RIP Dave Loggins. I've always liked this song. I've recently moved to Denver, so I've developed an especial appreciation for the 2nd verse.

I READ THAT DAVE HAD PASSED AWAY. I LISTENED TO " PLEASE COME TO BOSTON. I WISH I COULD THANK HIM FOR AWAKENING IN ME THE UNDERSTANDING OF WHY I CRY EVERY TIME I HEAR THIS SONG. ITS REALLY THE STORY OF LIFE! YOU NEVER TRULY KNOW WHERE LIFE WILL TAKE YOU. WE' RE REALLY CHILDREN JUST EXPLORING POSSIBILITIES IN OUR INEXPERIENCE AND NAIVETY. TIME AND UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES CHANGE EVERYTHING. IN THE SONG HIS ADVENTURES BROUGHT HIM SUCCESS BECAUSE HE LIVES IN A HOUSE THAT LOOKS OUT OVER THE OCEAN. STILL HE REMEMBERS HER. LIFE GIVES US MANY OPTIONS. SOMETIMES YOU LOOK BACK AND WONDER ABOUT WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN. LIFE TRULY IS BITTERSWEET!! SOMETIMES YOU WISH LIFE CAME WITH A "DO-OVER" CLAUSE!!! THANK YOU DAVE FOR A BEAUTIFUL, MEANINGFUL, TIMELESS ANTHEM OF LIFE!!!

Bustin Out was basically recorded by Craig Fuller with help from some members from the PPL line up of the the first album. This was the last album with Craig Fuller who in my opinion was the driving force i.e. writer, singer, lead guitar, for the original Pure Prairie League.
