@mannydsins I'm not 100% certain on the exact technical purpose of it. I just had to start doing it for any cover that covers a pipe or cable going through it or connecting to a machine. Sometimes, when you place them, they'll disconnect the pipe or cable. That's when you'll need to tell it what it is. I'm assuming it's something to do with the tick rate of the pipes and cables, but I'm not sure.

@@CryptoDucky ahh, I was confused as to the purpose of check list. I didn’t know you had to do that to ensure it doesn’t disconnect.

@mannydsins Yeah, I found out the hard way. I covered a whole line and couldn't figure out why the items weren't going through. I noticed it disconnected the pipe into the chest with a cover behind the chest to fill in the hole. So I needed it set there and reconnected the pipe to the chest, and it worked. I had the same issue with a machine I hooked up. Those ones are hard to tell if it disconnected unless you pull your wrench out and look at the wire frame box for the connection. So, hopefully, it helps avoid any frustration or confusion when you start setting them up. 😁

@gdmango783 Unfortunately, you only see it on old modpacks that still use NEI rather than JEI. I really wish the jei devs added it 😔

Yeah, it's kind of weird. The artist I use for music has all his albums at different volumes. This one did seem a little high for some reason. I appreciate the feedback still, and I hope you enjoy the series! Audio is definitely not my expertise, but I'm getting it dialed in slowly.

Depending on what you're listening to the video on, you can hear the w and t in wrought iron. That's the video that my audio had some serious problems in. There's a lot of words it kept cutting off the first, last, and/or both letters. It kinda does sound like raw on one of the times I say it, though 🤦😅

Yeah I did notice that later. I don't know why I thought it was maxed before. It's not crazy fast still and annoying to use like all good pickaxes are 😅

Yeah, I was hoping it would remove them, but it doesn't. You can remove each part as you craft them, though. Just press A on the further to the left or right depending on how you sort them. That will delete its whole line at once. Otherwise, I haven't found a way for it to recognize the crafts yet. I'll keep everyone posted if I find out more!

🤣 it's not really 30fps. The fps tracker doesn't work right with shaders. I've tested it in numerous different ways. But if you don't like seeing it, don't watch. My PC runs it just fine. 😁

@user-uz8dl3xi6w That's the problem it's not a 4090 🤣 but lol, I promise you it's not really 30 fps. I can't stand playing at 30 fps. It's absolutely brutal when it gets that low. The tracker just doesn't work right with them. It says 0, even when it's clearly not 0. The video plays just fine for me on my phone and PC, so I'm not sure what the issue is.

I'm honestly not sure about that. It might just be a 2.6 thing if you are on an older version. I'm only using Usernm, UU-Tex, and faithful in combination. I don't believe the ui one changed it. All of them are linked in one of my last episodes. I also have them all in my Discord for easy access to them.

Yeah, it came that way by default, but I made it show them all. I've been diving deep through all the quests, trying to figure out all of my options for resource generation and whatnot. It totally can get confusing, though. You're not wrong 😅 I tend to turn it on and off as I get confused 🤣

@@CryptoDucky also in case you were wondering about the food it keeps memory on the last 20 things and each food can be eaten 4 times at full value so you need to cycle between 6 things. 5 then 1 more to reset since 20/4 = 5. its configurable so each pack may do it different that uses spice of life. also one more thing i suggest taking it slow and not rushing main progression. like in an rpg you want to do the side stuff first before going on the main story as that unlocks more and if you fall behind all the sudden you have way too many options and you could have made your life easier if you took the time to set things up earlier etc. alot of youtubers have multiple seasons as by the time they hit mid game their base was a mess and it became too much. so be slow to take on new challenges and finish what you start. also the quest book is very good but not perfect and i think some info is wrong due to gt5u being updated many times and the devs forgetting to update the book so you may have to use your own intuition at times although its not common so 90% of the time you should be good.

@lilyscarlet2584 Yeah, I figured that out about the spice of life mod. It's just one that I'm not a fan of. Nobody has time to make meals all the time. 😅 That was my exact thought about progression, though. I did notice that same thing from a lot of other tubers, so I have been taking my time. I just spent 2 days organizing so it won't be a problem again. It was starting to get out of control already. But yeah, I've been doing like one or two main quests per video and a bunch of side ones. I've been grinding for more materials to really make an impressive steam line before I move on to LV. I'm sure the start of LV is still slow, so a good steam line wouldn't hurt. You're absolutely right about the questbook. I've already noticed a few things that were wrong. I do keep checking the wiki, though, since it seems to be updated regularly. Keep the advice coming, though. I truly appreciate it and am taking notes whenever anyone tells me new stuff! So thank you 🙏 😁

What do you mean it's messed up? They should all be in it. I'm guessing you mean the end cards not taking you to the next video? Or is the whole playlist backward? If it's backward, I know what setting I did wrong, lol. The end cards should just be whatever YT recommends from the channel along with the playlist and a sub button.

I did notice it was displaying them backwards, so that's fixed now! I'll work on the end cards still. That's the one thing I keep forgetting to set 😅

Yeah, I'll look into the reinforced more. I didn't think that the reinforcement made them unbreakable since my sword was reinforced before I made it all steel. It gained it's reinforced from the obsidian guard, so maybe that's why it still took damage. I'll look into it more. I found my tinkers book again, so I'll see what all the options are again. It's unfortunate to hear that about the wands, but I had a feeling that was the issue. Even the iron can't do it 😅

That's probably why. I usually keep my sword in slot one and my pickaxe in slot 2 but moved my sword to the battle gear area now to save space. 😅 Good call on that one, and thanks for letting me know!

It's actually a combination of 3 different ones. The main one does require the faithful 32x pack to be installed alongside it, but it goes below them all in the list. In order from top to bottom, it goes Usernm 32x32 gtnh textures, transparent ui, followed up by a bright futura font to make up for the transparency. I tried it with the non-bright, and it was a bit hard to read. That was after a few episodes. In the first couple, I used UUTrex and faithful. I might still add uutrex back since it mainly colored the machines

Yeah, I figured they would work with locked barrels to sort it that way. I just cut that part out, lol. It's good to know about the Smeltery. I figured it was a 1.7 thing. Yeah, it didn't even use the tank next to it like I figured. It chose one of the ones in the back.

That would defeat the whole purpose of using the pipe, though. I wanted to use pipes and not hoppers for their speed. Hoppers are slow and laggy. 😅 But that seems rather ridiculous, still that they need special treatment compared to using a fluid pipe.

Well, the hoppers and pipe do work. I gave you a shout-out in the video for the comment, too. I used them to automate the smeltery for glass, so thank you! 😊 🙏
