I have a TD8. If you can't find master link, you can put up on blocks under your bottom rollers, leave under idler unsupported, take grease zerk out, take a 4x4 between back of blade and idler then compress in. This should allow enough slack to roll tracks off idler.

This sounds like somebody who's established and has the option to get the brand name ones that are more if you so desire....not someone whos options are severely limited or, who is simply unable to get the other name brands, because they seem out of reach or unattainable. So owners or equipment operators who have the choice to get something else, still will opt to go with this.

tracked machines are crazy good on the rough stuff for sure. and more stable generally which is big. but if you actually need versatility it's wheels, you can put tracks on wheels but you can't put wheels on tracks. wheeled machines are often though not always quicker and more fuel efficient than tracked and when it comes to pushing snow you usually want wheels

So cool, I have a 279d3 and searched before I picked up a few 4000lb blocks to see if it would lift them. It picked them up on the end of my forks with a chain no problem, but certainly a bit tip, so kept it low and slow. These machines are very capable.

Had did you slide the front out with carrier bearing still on? Also that shaft guard was an absolute nightmare trying to get out. I cut it out and it’s staying out. Also, you put that bearing on backwards.

Great machine no issues sold the 60 and got an 80 size sany. Use it everyday. I'll say though dealer.support is everything. I would go with the best dealer brand close to you. These aren't like cars w aftermarket support. When they tear up you need a sharp.mechanic. luckily sany and cat are close to me and they are top notch.

I’m considering buying the Sany 60 and a 135. Have you had any track problem? I’ve heard the 60 has issues with the track coming off. Thanks in advance for all your insight.

If you know how to operate a machine and wear not to put it no track issues. I put a couple hundred hrs on the 60 . When you hear a pop back up. Any track machine can throw it on a stump or root. I never had one come of the 60 or the 80 yet knock on wood. Now a buddy bought a 60 and threw one at 20hrs. Of course he backed up on a stump. Had know clue how to make sure they were tight. 60 and a 135 would be sweet. The 80 for me is going amazing. Getting clearing jobs and still digging tights footers. Working out well. Dealer support is still everything know matter the brand you buy. I would definitely like a 30k machine if I keep clearing. But for now it's doing great.

Luckily I have a good sany dealer in my area. Also sany has a good name cause it sold fast to a guy in another state dealer honored warranty no issues.

For a dairy farmer, wheeled makes the most sense. Most Dairymen are on concrete 95% of the time and they are in cow manure. Much easier and faster cleaning cow manure off tires than track system guards, etc.

Thanks for the video, good points about renting vs buying, I agree. I've never owned one and it is just personal use but after a lot of researching I think the 80 is a better choice for clearing big trees and lots of rock. It is a shame everything is made over seas but that's the reality.

Thanks. The 60 ain't far behind the 80. But for big stumps sometimes u just need that little bit more. 80 is definitely the middle ground that can about do it all.

Its amazing how some people will record a video on youtube and have absolutly no clue what they are talking about. track width has zero impact on machines ability to push thru a pile of dirt. hydraulic pump, final drive specs and valve relief settings are what determine machine ability to push. track width can cause you to loose traction or flotation but that is not what is happening here!

Only thing that you should think of and double cheack is if u buy from a auction site or even some dealers sany wont warranty the machines c and c eqipment made a recent video about some machines they bought on auction sites and come to find out most of the 5000hr warranty isnt transferable like most sites and dealers are claiming c and c eqipment soon learned after a guy bought one from them and needed a small repair done to machine with just couple hundred hrs on it sany would not warranty it at all because it went to a eqipment auction just something i seen online do your own cheacking in your local area before spending 60k on something with no warranty that you think is covered worth asking your local dealer ask them straight up i think alot of people who have bought them are about to soon find out depending on were they got it sany isnt gonna help you at all with it hope the people who do buy a sany at least are aware of what to cheack or ask their local guy in their area ask them were it came from buying it from real ligit sany dealership is best idea in this case no used eqipment sales auctions are not good option eather according to what ive seen maybe c and c eqipment isnt giveing the whole storie about buying used sany exavators but it would suck to buy one thinking you have 5000 hr transferable warranty to find out it has nothing because u bought it online or in a auction site like eqipment trader dont really have any thing against them i was even looking into them and maybe still would get one but would be more selective on from were i might buy it from make sure i do get the warranty that warranty could be worth 10s of thousands of dollars if a big issue arises before the hr or yrs are up thats my thoughts hope this can help someone heard the machines arnt horriable just be aware of this being a thing possably

What about the tracks that go over the wheels vs a tracked machine. Would that option lead you more towards a wheeled machine.
