Well they did do lot of changes in ARR during the last 2 expansions. Mid stormblood they change MSQ roulette cutscenes to be unskippable bcz sprouts couldnt enjoy the cutscenes/dungeon due to Vets running so far ahead . Then they change cape westwind from a 8 man trial( the memes) to a solo fight. Then livia castrum was cut from 8 to 4man shorter dungeon. Then the other castrum got cut into 3 parts. It ends on the gaisus fight now instead. Ultima is a fight of it own now and lahabrea is now solo..but it did make the dungeon even shorter. Atleast some of the lower level dungeons got a update change. Post arr had cut down alot of quests compare to before when i first started in 2016. Have u try extreme fights? ARR ones are a mentor nightmare when they get it in their mentor roulettes. Well for most mentors.😅

It is a moon. A smaller or lesser moon. It was created by the Allagans as a prison ages ago. During 1.0 it was dragged down by the previous Emperor in his actually her insanity. When she was killed it was hoped it would stop falling but not 1.0 was shut down and this played. Everyone was sent 5 years ahead in time. Then ARR launched.

I main DNC for my DPS, and while it has the lowest damage of any DPS that you need to maintain buffs up to even match them on a slow day... you _share that buff 1-to-1 with your Dance Partner._ This means that you still contribute significantly to total damage, especially if your partner is playing well. That little 5% buff to you is making you average, but since it's shared it's making that SAM a god. And there's a other support skills. You can ease a lot of the load on healers without interrupting your rotation if you stay aware.

As a WHM main, Healing high-level or challenge content is an _very_ fun and busy dance of trying to weave your healing off-globals in when people get hurt at the opportune moments while not dropping your GCD the entire time, and then using your unique resource to heal because that actually increases your damage (longer explanation below). White Mage has a "lily gauge" that blooms up to three lilies, one every 30s in combat. Each is an instant, free version of your primary GCD heal. Every time you spend one, it feeds into a "Blood Lily," and if you spend 3 you can cast a new GCD attack that is worth 4 of your standard damage casts (refunding the damage you lost by GCD healing and then some). _Ideally,_ you never overcap on lilies and you get your Blood Lily just in time for the party 2-minuite burst window, where between all the buffs being passed around you can make it slap for a LOT more. It's less plate-spinny and supportive than Astroligian, and less proactive than Scholar and Sage, but White Mage can just put out bigger personal numbers.

The longest CDs, outside of the tank invulns, is two minutes. So opening with the two minutes for thr first trash pull, then when you get to the first boss, it should be up again. Rise, repeat and win.

Bard is a fun job, but its super proc heavy. Mostly its not an issue, but you can get distracted watching for procs while mechanics are happening. It might be my layout not helping, but moving my hud for just one class isnt in the cards. While Bard looks crazy at max level, its worth reminding that its a lv1 start class, so you'll get slowly introduced to more and more, so its not so bad.

Of all 5 melees, i hated Dragoon the most, their rotation takes forever to smooth out and oh lord it take forever for them to get their first AoE attack and then way too long for a combo to it. But to each their own, that might just be me.

Well if your OT, off tank, you leave your stance off for like a minute or two, then turn yours on so that you can get second highest aggro, so if something happens to the MT, the boss will go to you instead of your healers. Just make sure the MT gets a few moments to get that head start on aggro.

i like red mage, when i bought the game i changed from black mage to red mage bcs it was hell with rotation changing every dungeon - red mage has quite easy to understand rotation and cool animation - also our limit break - VERFLASHBANG! but also. well.. it isnt good or bad thing, but we are doing most of the resses bcs we have spammable instant heal:D

"Red Mage doesnt progress"? ... Well, I mean... if thats how you wanna see it than no job really progresses: - you get skill upgrades like everybody else, - you get flashier finishers, just like everybody else, - and you get bigger numbers the more you progress and the better your gear. And yes, your rotation doesnt really change that much, but, you guessed it, *just like everybody else* XD The big advantage RDM has over the other two magic dps jobs is it starts at lvl 50: you get to lvl50 on any job and you can unlock RDM. Just dont be surprised if you queue for Sastasha synct and you only have lvl18 skills... Black Mage is a meme of a stand-still job but gets so many instant cast abilities that with a bit of planning ahead you wont notice the limitations. And Summoner is kind of the opposite where you have to consider when in your rotation you get to those longer Ifrit casts. Also RDM, yes, you have a melee burst window but its sadly only 70-80% of your rotation: You build ressources with your spellcasting and spend these ressources with your flashy swordplay.

Sage shoots lasers, no more needs to be said.

Bard has only a single skill that is RnG based. The first song that "give you an arrow, when it feels like it" is actually fully consistent. By defautl the Bard has an off global cooldown attack that regains a charge after a certain time. With this first song, you knock a couple of second off of that cooldown, with each attack you land. The other song that JoCat said give you arrows when it feels like it is even more straightforward. Every couple of seconds, it generates a charge and with each charge, you can fire off one attack (also OGCD). Now the Dancer really is coinflips all the way, but considering how you give one other party member a lot of damage, that's not as bad as it might sound.

Bard: cycles through three songs with a big finalie when you're done with the 3rd and start again with the 1st. Has some rng to it and is the busiest job. The song also applies buffs to the whole party: first crit, then dmg, then speed, then crit again and so on via those songs. Always keep your dots up. Machinist: has some hot phases and alighing your burst with the party can be annoying. Gets called the "selfish ranged" from the lot but they got another debuff for the boss so this isnt quite true anymore. Dancer: 1 buff for a partymember (in general a melee dps), 1 super-buff for the whole party. Very rng dependent. May be the one with the supposed biggest buffs and worst dmg of all, but as JoCat already said: if your dmg is bad, its a you problem, not the job's :D

You mentioned in another video that you were playing FF6. Machinist is based on Edgar, complete with Bio Blaster, Flamethrower, and Air Anchor abilities.

Dont make an enemy of your healers, kids, they wont just let you die: they'll raise you and then kill you themselves. Its called "education" ^.^
