Technically, neither. He merged with Jubi so out of all, he was most akin to humanoid shinju, but was still a jinchuriki first and foremost. While his looks very much resembled that of Otsutsukis, more than anything else. He could be placed anywhere between Jubi and Otsutsuki as his own variant in this evolutionary cycle, and i think that itself reinforces this theory.

@@EnthusiastOwned thats just one of possibilities, as of know there's nothing interesting or spectacular about bugs strength, but one has to ask themselves: 1) Why was bugs in charge of overseeing the disposed cyborgs 2) What name "Bug" means or possibly symbolizes in relationships to cyborgs and technology overall, that are now present in the story. Naming of Eida, Code, Bug and Daemon is clearly intentional and i dont think its just surface level connection to technology. I do believe we still have more to learn about Bugs, and i sincerely doubt he's one of the 4 main shinju just because, as we know more than just 4 people were captured by claw grimes/fission beings.

A good question and the way i see it, i think it's the lack of his genes that Kawaki carries. Basically Otsutsuki resurrect when their genes are extracted over their vessels. For Kawkai, even if he holds some Shibai DNA in his karma, thats still close to 0, and 80+% Isshiki. While if he, as a complete Otsutsuki, now implants a new karma that has Shibai DNA, into a vessel that is still 0% Otsutsuki, the Karma would be a functioning one and the DNA of Shibai might be extracted over. The question is how Kawaki and Shiba dna will intertwine and which willl be the one extracted in a new vessel, but it's also important to note Amado is the one that will be preparing the new body/vessel, so that could be the key to give priority to Shibais DNA. But i also have an alternative theory, which would still follow the same logic, about the DNA in his karma actually being Akebis, and she's the Otsutsuki

Yes! The Juubi Jinchuriki looking like Otsutsukis definitely has a role in all of this. I think it shows that Juubi is a very core part of it, either by them being evolved from juubi themselves, or by some other humanoid alien creature being consumed/merged by them way back in the past.

Rinnegan comes from Rinnesharingan. We know ALL Jubi possess the rinnesharingan, while lower ranked Otsutsuki we saw only possessed Byakugan, no other dojutsu. That is in line with Amado's statement of stating that Bykaugans origin trace to Otsutsuki, while no such statement is made for Rinnegan or Rinnesharingan, or any other dojutsu for that matter. We do however see Kaguya awaken rinnesharingan after consuming a chakra fruit procured by Jubi, and we see Hagoromo possess the rinnegan as his mothers chakra was diluted. Sasuke's rinnegan is six tomoe rinnegan, and possesses powers of both rinnegan and sharingan. He already possessed sharingan as him awakening rinnegan on top of that is a result of Hagoromo sharing his chakra with him. Rinnegan variations, as explained in the video, are completely in line with the fact new abilities are awaken as a result of increase of chakra alongside absorbing unique genetic information, which also encompasses Kakkei Mora and Kakkei Genkai classifications, as those essentially just refer to different type of bloodline limit or genetics. That also explains your example of Momoshiki awakening more rinnegans after eating Kinshiki. There is nothing suggesting it was Kinshiki that was responsible for awakening of new rinnegans, as he didn't possess it, but Momoshiki already did. It's a lot more likely and in line with in verse explanations that Momoshiki, as higher ranked Otsutsuki, awakened rinegan after consuming a chakra fruit, and then awakened more after getting a chakra surge from Kinshiki, as he already possessed the genetic predispositions required to awaken rinnegan, as a result of consuming chakra fruits. Edit: To address some other points of your comment. All Rinnegans seen in Shippuden tie their origin to Jubi indirectly. Jubi --> Kaguya --> Hagoromo --> Sasuke & Madara --> Obito & Nagato. Their classification of Kakkei Mora or Kakkei Genkai doesn't have anything to do with the original origin of the dojutsu. Nor does your explanation of Kakkei Mora and how it ties to Kaguya make your point, but the opposite, as Kaguyas rinnesharingan was awakened because of Jubi and consuming the chakra fruit it procured, not her Otsutsuki lineage.

Senringan, daikokuten, sukunahikona (which come from ootsutsuki doujutsu, just like jougan) are classified as shinjutsu as Amado explained (so this breaks your argument that other doujutsu have no statement that they come from the ootsutsuki lineage), That's why I'm going to continue with my point that momoshiki and urashiki's rinnegans are from the ootsutsuki lineage, unlike the rinnegans that come from juubi as all these rinnegans follow the purple pattern (hidari, juura, matsuri, bug, sasuke , hagoromo and madara all follow this pattern only juubi), while the rinnegans of momoshiki and urashiki have a basis for stating that the ootsutuski lineage does have a rinnegan that can be awakened by this lineage (as momoshiki awakened his third by absorbing the kinshiki, urashiki also awakened a third rinnegan by eating his eyes and absorbing his gourd chakra, proving that they have access to new doujutsus and variations of existing doujutsus because of their own lineage). And there's one more thing that proves that these two's Rinnegans are different, Sasuke's Rinnegan has tomoes because he can merge the powers of his mangekyou with Rinnegan (and a detail that Sasuke didn't awaken Rinnegan, he got it directly from Hagoromo as present), but urashiki also has a variation of rinnegan with tomoes and he never used any mangekyou powers, and note that urashiki's blue rinnegan has powers of perception (something that neither sasuke nor any other character with rinnegan have, Sasuke's Rinnegan only combines the special powers of Mangekyou, but as Sasuke stated in the fight against Ishiki he was using the Sharingan to keep up with the speed of the stakes), this proves that once again their Rinnegan is special. Edit: Just to add, the doujutsu being a kekkei mora does make a difference when explaining a doujutsu, as already explained kekkei mora comes from kaguya's ootsutsuki lineage, the databooks make a point of differentiating the origin of the doujutsus, even the byakugans from the ootsutsuki They are classified as kekkei mora (precisely to make it clear that they come from the ootsutsuki lineage). In the case of madara and sasuke, they are classified as kekkei genkais because they differ from the lineages (even because the uchihas are a very branched lineage of the Indra ootsutsuki lineage, in the same way that uzumakis are just a branch of the senju, which is why they awaken kekkei genkais and not kekkei moras, there is a huge distinction between the two so it does make a difference, especially now that the database distinguishes shinjutsu saying that it is another category of powers that come from the ootsutsuki lineage).

They are awakened through evolution that happens after consuming a chakra fruit, which is procured by Jubi. The evolution happens because Jubi sucks all chakra and genetic information from planet and its living beings and procures a chakra fruit that contains all of that. So no, Otsutsuki themselves are not the cause of those abilities, Jubi and chakra fruit they procure are. Like Isshiki told Code, he too would evolve if he consumed a chakra fruit yet Code is not an Otsutsuki. You can hammer the point, but first you'd have to get down the basics. Otsutsuki aren't born with all those abilities and dojutsu (except for Byakugan), they awaken them after evolving as a result of utilizing jubi and consuming chakra fruits. Your point on Kakkei Mora proves that. Kaguya awakened her Rinnesharingan after consuming Jubi's chakra fruit, she wasn't born with it. Your distinctions between Kakkei Genkai and Kakkei more rinngean is completely irrelevant for this video, both trace their origin to jubi, one directly (Kaguyas), the other indirectly. So lastly, as i repeated myself too many times now, Otsutsukis aren't the cause of any of dojutsu or special abilities, any living being could evolve and awaken those if they consumed the chakra fruit, and to procure the chakra fruit you need Jubi, all of which possessed rinnesharingan and to which all rinnegans in Shippuden trace their origins to, Kaguyas "Kakkei Mora rinnegan" or everyone else's "Kakkei Genkai rinnegans"

Shibai awakened his shinjutsus after consuming countless chakra fruits, once again making chakra fruits the origins of those, and as we know, not just Otsutsukis but at very least humans consuming chakra fruits would also evolve. 3. Bykaugan is the ONLY dojutsu which origins is CONFIRMED to originate from Otsutsukis. My video and comments are not about what is or isn't "Otsutsuki power", it's about origins of those. And we saw all Otsutsuki, either lower or higher ranked ones possess it, while other dojutsus aren't shared between them, meaning their origins come from a different source. 4. Isshiki dojutsu is called Isshiki dojutsu because it was possessed by Isshiki. It's origin was never specified. 4. Kakkei Mora argument was already addressed. Kaguya rinnesharingan is classified as Kakkei Mora, she wasn't born with it and we know it came from Jubi. So it didn't originate with her. Kakkei Mora thus doesn't mean something originated from Otsutsukis as we confirmed this to be false.

I don't think so honestly. I believe they were influenced at that moment with that part of chakra used, but the chakra usage wasn't continues but a one time use. He restored the chakra, and its quite clear that shinju at least are completely detached from any bonds with Code, while claw grimes just seem like mindless beasts. The shinju already evolved and i dont think he can undo any of that, while combining with the claw grimes mighr be possible, but not simply by reversing the process, but forcefully joining them back together.
