Okay, the plush in the kid scooter had me laughing. :)

Nice to see some decks with the linen insert. This really helps when doing fancy shuffles, stops cards sticking ect. A lot of listings for fate decks don't tell you the materials of the cards and there seems to be a wide variation from laminated cards, 100% plastic, to textured ones like these.

I'm not a huge fan of the different keyword masters boxes. I think if Wyrd started to put out boxes containing minions, enforcers and henchmen with mixed keywords that would be a bad move on their part. This will be why the Damned is separate from Austere and Twigge: because buying a box of multiple models when you only want one of them is not a good feeling.

I looked this up as I have a either 1/6 or 1/10 (I forget what scale I used) upscale of this model in my garage, fully cast but detail unfinished. I sculpted it and cast it as part of a uni project. I’d always intended to complete it so I was very disappointed when they redesigned it! Maybe I’ll get it done soon, I’ve no idea if it’d be of any interest to the community any more though. Thanks for the video!

great to know they've been improving the newer starter boxes. can't wait to get my hands on the resser one. I'm hoping it would include the newly revealed Batsch and Amalie, their concept design is just gold.

I've been picking up all the Malifaux starters; they're just too good a value to pass up. I'm eally looking forward to the Resers one, as that's my #2 faction right behind Grem...errr..."bayou".

thanks for showing these! not a fan of Wyrd's thermoplastic minis, but I think they're improving with the newer releases. It's a shame that the new rotten harvest boxes are also going to be thermoplastics, cause I really dig the dia de los muertos theme. I might consider buying if there's enough positive reviews about them.

How do you make your base inserts?

Okay- what if, kirai is still mad about Jack Daws shenanigans, she decides the only person who can help her get back at him (cuz, ya know, vengeance) is her old mentor Nico. So she finds Morty off trying to trade the soulstones for illicit goods and services. And who better to know how to bring back dead souls than the ghost lady herself. Boom, phantom Nico, complete with dapper outfit 😊

As a guy who has both motor skill issues and purchased this box with the grave golem, I've got a big challenge ahead of me, thanks for showing the assembly as I'm a visual learner lol

I bought one of these boxes. Did you notice something suspicious about Yannik? There is implication the model should have a second gun. The back of the box shows a gun on her back. Her card also shows her with a gun on her back. Also the model itself only has a strap on her front and the strap is missing on the back of the model. I speculate that this was a build desicion however it is annoying to have unfinished models.

They look pretty great for pre-assembled stuff. And that deck looks shiny!

I picked these up, and despite the fantastic sculpts; I was rather disappointed in them. They are too small to put on the 50mm bases and look ridiculous. But what's worse is that you cant even base them without either pinning, or adding some terrain feature that doesn't come with the models. They should have been to scale with the rider from last year's puppetwars figures. Great review though.

How were you able to play Wildstar?!.

I dunno why, but a LOT of the minions are numbered differently on the sprue, than the site. New subscriber, btw... number 69!

I have some of these Venom burst things and I squeezed all the ooze out of them and used the cups they come in to keep the slime in.

Every time I think im going to be able to make it past a sale without buying anything... they always get me. :) Thanks for the cool video!

Eggcelent guide! A year or two before The Plague, Wyrd announce a change so pre-release sales is only part of the GenCon sale, so we can be fairly sure they won't be available this Easter sale. The reason they gave for limiting pre-release sales to once a year was that selling models before their release date essentially screws over independent retailers. This is also the reason new releases show up in the wyrd webstore a month after release date, and, I suspect, why their sales does not include discounted prices.

Most Excellent News! Been grabbing these for a bit longer -- and I've always found something each year to get. The pre-release stuff is usually GENCON though... Can't wait to dig in because I really want those upscaled sprues!
