I met this girl in 2019, at work. And we clicked, but - my past experiences did not allow me to go any further. I was in recluse and fear. Fast forward to 2020, we stayed in touch and I moved to Germany while she was in India. I was growing too attached to her, and i got nervous - scared because of my past outcomes. I broke all contact with her - and 4 months later, on a rainy evening in Munich - i listened to this song (and this video), and out of the blue - i could only associate this song (and the visuals) with her. Although we never listened to it together. I ended up texting her immediately after, and we started talking again. And eventually, we got married in December 2022. I am in Germany again right now, and she is India, she will be here exactly 1 month from now. And here I am, listening to the song. Thank you Pearl Jam. Thank you Mr. Vedder. This song and this video, is where I will always COME BACK to. <3

This movie, the soundtrack, and this song, if ever there were a more perfect pairing I haven't found it yet. Especially this song. Perfection.

Thank you for posting this. Pink Floyd is only the best band on the planet. Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind is one of my favourite films. When I need a good cry, this is such a great watch. The first time I saw it, I cried every time I thought of it, it hit me that deep. We played this at my friend's funeral in 1997. I miss you, Martin. How I wish you were here.

I must have watched this film 50x and it STILL gives me goosebumps.
