While I'm glad she chose herself, I wonder, what was her original reason for choosing this career. Yes, the education system (nationwide), is questionable. However, think about the children that could use your guidance, your instruction, etc. Teaching can be a challenge, but to last in this field, you must have the heart. Seeing teachers resign, in a short amount of time, disheartens me😢.

Hi, I am very happy for you that you were able to finally quit the teaching job you don't like. I am also in the same boat. 😐 Also, curious what you are do doing now and how's your experience. Pls let me know. I also want to quit my teaching job but I get very lazy in the holidays and don't want to live all the days like that. 🙏🙏

Good for you. I resigned from being a college professor for 20 years for the same reasons that K-12 teachers are leaving. Students carry their lack of respect and sense of entitlement to college bc they have been programmed to believe it is okay. Then, the administrators stand by them bc they see them as dollar signs and don't want to lose the revenue or face litigation. It is really sad. My daughter is 18 and sometimes I feel so badly that she was born at this time in history. I wish I could take her back in time, but all I can do is continue to support her and guide her to the best of my ability.

The other day I saw my middle school teacher and she asked me what I'm doing now with my life (I'm 21) and I told her I want to study education. She immediately told me that I'm making a huge mistake. The college I applied for accepted me and now I feel so scared to take education because I'm seeing all of these videos about people quitting education... I literally do not know what else to do but I'm hoping and praying for God to lead me to the right path

I love the vid….I just bought the ZV1F (white one) open box from Best Buy it was $370 it didn’t have the instructions and the cord not a deal breaker I don’t read the manuals anyway. I wanted the ZVE 10 but since they just came out with ZVE 2 I am definitely going to get that one that one will be my sit down bcuz they say it’s extremely heavy compared to this one and the ZV 1.

Omg girl, you packed for a month or more even 😂. I’m sure you’ve gotten way better with the one bag travel by now but holy cow! Though could’ve don’t with just 3 tops,3 bottoms and a dress. Save space for possible shopping(turn that into a souvenir) and for when you have very tight flights and they really scrutinize your bag. I hope you had a fantastic trip. My heart hurts every time someone brings up SHEIN 😢.

You look like a wonderful person and a joy to be in the classroom. I hope the kids were grateful for you but I can never judge a fellow teacher for walking away for any reason they feel is right. And let no one tell you otherwise.

@@leonessbutterfly8813 amen! I'm not blaming the teachers one bit. I'm an ESL teacher and I want to quit everyday. Those few students that actually want to learn and are respectful is what keeps me going. But these children that lack complete respect, would rather play games on their phone and feel like they are too tired to learn, I can't stand it. It's going to be a terrible day when teachers don't want to teach you anything and you have to read a book on your own...

7 years in education and that anxiety trip right before the end of breaks are REAL and can turn manic real quick. I’m going through one now as I go back in a week and a half…..The breaks are becoming shorter in exchange for a “pay raise” that’s equivalent to a joke in this $1800-$2100 rent economy

Either you are not cut out to teach OR you were dumped into a wasteful system with little or no teacher development support. Success Academy (NYC based) has a system of constant, real time support & feedback you can read about, MISSION POSSIBLE, that shows how teachers are the 1 & only key to excellence in education with constant feedback& improvementbeing the key to the key. If that sounds enticing, read the book, maybe its the solution.
