well fuck me that was mint, iv spent the last 18 years or so every december watching the the bootleg beatles in bristol so have heard some good renditions of that song but that was off the scale love it let me know when you guys are in bristol and ill defo make that an annual thing as well👍👍👍👍

Saw Rain in my high school gym in 1978. Maybe the original lineup then. They rocked. This clip has the Paul guy channeling the stance and mannerisms for sure. Lennon's pants perhaps a bit baggy. They have it down though.

Actually Rain has been around in different reincarnations since the early 80s. Some versions were better than others.

Not only does the lead guitarist nail George's vocal nuances and Clapton's guitar inflections, his guitar tone is absolutely flawless! Literally sounds exactly the same as Lucy sounds on the record!

There’s is an offstage musician that plays keyboard parts as well as horns and strings. Don’t recall if they are synthesized or sampled. He is not completely out of view and is introduced during the show.

Seen them three times over thirty years (different cast members). They put in a great show. The sound is much better in show. This video doesn’t do them any justice.

The original from Dregs of the Earth? I miss Andy's intro on the version from The Great Spectacular demo. They've re-recorded all the songs from that demo except Kathreen.

I bought a ticket, went to the show, and had a good time. If you don't like this kind of show, you have the choice not to go. I often check KZfaq before attending a concert to determine if I will like it or not. As for vision, this concert represents one that never occurred, because the Beatles did not tour in their later years. I liked it.

glad I have been scoping these guys out before going. They are mediocre in some songs and barely OK in others, Not worth the money. See 1964 the Tribute, they blow these guys away.
