I’ve read comments that his voice resembles to that of Franco Corelli, I hate it that people compare voices to other opera singers and in fact it doesn’t resemble that of Corelli. Nice voice though

Great. I hope he doesnt rush into dramaric roles. This is pretty much a spinto role, but its short. I am watching. ADAM and talking him up with everyone i can .

I was there. Extraordinary performance. Ive never heard an ovation like that in San Diego. Adam Smith will be a huge star if he is careful with that gorgeous instrument.

Although I see some similarities to Corelli (yes he was unique) it is Smith. And he has one big advantage to Corelli. His singing can still be heared live in the theatre. I Luckily could hear one of his fantastic Tosca performances. He is one of the todays best Tenors .

Glorious. It's like going back to the tenors of old. Last year I saw that you were coming to sing Cavaradossi in Sydney, so I booked tickets, flights from Melbourne and a hotel to hear you for my wife's birthday in August... but then I looked at the website recently and they've quietly subbed you out for another tenor! Hope you will still grace our stages in Australia sometime soon, your voice is something special and I want to hear it live.

Is this Kansas City? Heard Adam today as Pinkerton in San Diego. Its going to get a lot bigger . In 5 years he will be a force in spinto rep. I have never heard /seen an ovation like they got today. . Every on their feer at the final chord. Rare in San Diego anyway, but rarer to have a performance worthy of it. Kind of like the old Corelli days. Everyone in the theatre was completely wrapped up. No one was trying to get to thelr cars first.
