Absolute legend, couldn't have found this at a better time! Had my right indicator come away from my bike and thought someone had tried to tamper with my bike to plan to steal it (had an AirTag inside the indicator). Didn't realise they could just split and fall off like this, ordered a replacement rubber and using your guide to fit it. 👌🏼👌🏼

Agreed, they aren’t too overly powerful, if you’re confident and think you can manage the torque, go for it.

You should also mention the overall weight of the bike. It’s not just the CCs or HP output, a less powerful bike is also much lighter. So when you make the mistake of losing balance at low speed or end up dumping it in any moment, it’s not nearly as much weight to control. Those bigger bikes are 400lbs or more, when something goes wrong that bike WILL throw you right off of itself. Plus, unless you’re a freaking powerlifter, you’re going to struggle picking the 400lb bike up off the ground afterwards.

I'd say go for cheaper bikes, 1st time riders will diff drop or crash it, and knowing down the line you're upgrading, saving some funds might help for that dream bike later on. Also I will spend extra on gears too, bikes can be replaced but not your life or worst someone elses.

V2 has 150hp, that’s pretty insane for a first bike. Extremely expensive too, most new riders drop their bike at least once, maybe save it for your second bike 😅

Considering most 300-400cc bikes are far quicker than 95% of cars on the road. I respectfully disagree. 600cc bikes are not forgiving for new riders.

@@itskrismoto Realistically speaking no bike is forgiving. The problem with starting small is you won't respect the bike, which creates dangerous riders. I started riding at the age of 15 on a k6 gsxr 1000. The most important thing is to respect the bike and the throttle. Alot of creator promote this idea of starting small and its unnecessary.

I’ve gotten an old 636 to start on. Fast enough to grow in to but not so slow that I’ll get bored with it. I can manage it, but every time I’m on it I know o would be more comfortable and less nervous on an R7 or Ninja 400. I love my bike, but a 400 would be much more manageable and I cannot deny that. I tell all my friends to start on something less aggressive

Good take. I have a newer 636 now and could not imagine it as my first bike. Would definitely not be as good of a rider now if I started on it a few years ago instead of the 400.

Not always the case. Honda CBR650r, 95hp (sportbike) vs Yamaha R7, 72hp (supersport). The difference is mainly regarding ergonomics, but I appreciate your confidence!
