Now let me get this straight, were you working in a "real" garden or a Garden of Weeden! Great camera techniques although not sure I would put my Go-Pro in the bottom of a pot and cover it with dirt. Just saying! Oh!, I think it would be even funnier to reverse that section with the dying weed to show it then coming back to life. Proof that you can't keep a good weed down!

I had a hardshell diving case on the GoPro that seals it from the environment, so that’s what I use whenever I like to make shots that make the GoPro dirty.

With a frustrating life with Amazon's Alexa, I love how Broken Windows AI ignores questions and even goes to other AI clients for answers. I need to get one so I can get it and Alexa talking to each other instead of Alexa bothering me! Very clever video and the price is right! Hope there is a bulk discount, say two copies for $45,000.

I failed to keep score in the live game but surprisingly got 7 right. Super game idea Hans! It can be done in a short matter of time and get a lot of laughs in the process! I really do think it could be made into a filler article for a newsletter as well.

Correction: The daylily that turned 100 years old is 'Ophir', not Hyperion. Both turned 100 years old though!

I wouldn’t have known. The video was fabulous and so were all the images. Hyperion was registered in 1924 so you are still correct.

Yes... While I have failed to try to give my Nut Grassé to long-experienced growers, those same growers have given me "Nut Grassé". It's so strange; it's almost like it's a weed or something.

Hans, I have several variations of "nut grasse". I find it to be much more vigorous than the rest of my daylilies and very resistant to rust, herbicides, or even a flame thrower. If you need more to cross with or further study, please let me know.

Another great video spoofing another of my favorite Christmas treats. My dentist advised not to eat in the wrong order. If you eat the peanut brittle first, then you have to gum the fruitcake until your new teeth arrive. Eat the fruitcake first, then you won't feel like eating the peanut brittle and next year it will still be brittle when you take it off the roof and regifted it! Two thumbs up! A.W.

If peanut brittle was offered at a fast food joint (well, not so fast anymore), I could say “I would like an order of peanut brittle with no brittle.” Kind of reminds me of a time during the 2020 lockdown how a a daylily member in my club unexpectedly came to the house and asked for masks, as if we owned a restaurant called Masker’s, much like the naming scheme of Wendy’s and Jack’s. “I want 2 large masks and hydrogen peroxide as a drink.” Anyways, glad you enjoyed, although it’s perplexing how peanut brittle is one of your favorite treats!?

🤪I suspect the decline in AHS membership in the year published may have been due to the print version of this scenario appearing in the Daylily Journal. Just kidding! I found this video adaption even funnier. I never thought our collaboration in print could adapt to this format but you have found new and unique ways to improve the humor. While the original was conceived more as a soup bowl, the toilet bowl, which would not have passed the Editorial Board's approval, had me flushed with excitement. Your co-author, A.W.

The reason I decided to make a toilet instead of a bowl is because after the article was published, Amazon came out with a bowl shaped “Echo Pop”. So, I figured something more creative would be good. Thanks for the comment!
