Great job !!! How did you determine your “slope”(?) for the shower floor?

We did a 1/4 inch per foot. So, we used the laser leveler and the penciled in the additional height on the wall. Once the shower bed hardened 24 hrs later, we rolled a marble to ensure water would flow down to the drain. Thanks for watching and for commenting.

Lots of cool stores in Gatlinburg…I camped for 3 days at Cades Cove…loved the loop. Saw bears too! I went in April.

Here in Spartanburg, SC is a large community of Hmong and there would be a Hmong Festival every year. I loved going and eating the foods as some were familiar and reminded me of Hawaii were I’m from.🌺

My sister in Hawaii feed theirs scraps then when they are big they shoot one and process it. Put in the smoker! Never use as pets, only food source.

Seen plenty of subarus on the outer banks. Good tires and air them down. You will be fine. Not sure what subaru you have but a little ground clearance doesn’t hurt

I can’t believe I stumbled across this page! I lived in this house when I was a little girl!!! It was brown back then and surrounded by orange trees. My parents converted the attached garage for my grandparents to live in. I always loved this house, we had many happy family memories there! This is so devastating!! 😭 I hope your family was safe!! I’m soooo glad to see you’re rebuilding! ❤️

@@notsowilderness I love the blue! It’s bright and cheerful!! My bedroom was the upstairs one that faced south, and my brother had the one that faced the driveway. I even carved my initials “JW” in the banister when we moved in 1995…lol! I’m sure it’s long gone. It’s so cool to see you guys rebuilding it. I can’t wait to see it finished! Hello there. Great question - We had a couple of storms that hit our home last summer and fall. More devastating was Hurricane Ian which took a huge toll on our home. We've been away for almost 1 year until the home repairs are done. We did some mowing, weeding, and still have 1 large oak tree down from the hurricane that we haven't got to, but have half of the tree cut down, which is amazing especially in 93 degree weather in Florida. We have a video that goes over our house situation as well. We'll be updating all progress via YT. Thanks for inquiring and have a beautiful day.
