I feel as though Avery transitioned to try to solve all her problems because of how unhappy she was from not feeling pretty enough- like feeling like an ugly girl was a reason to turn into a boy- because feeling ugly and depressed isn’t a valid reason to become transgender. Avery was lost with no identity and then latched into this, most transgender feel trapped in the wrong body- and that’s now how Avery described their emotional experience, they just felt socially isolated bored & lost

Didn't have rhythm? These parents are really crazy. Avery is an adult but there are some very messed up ideas about womanhood being expressed here.

Hi! Thanks for sharing. I’m non-binary amab and recently changed my name to Riven after exploring the possibility/being closeted for 3 years. I came out as a gay guy like 12 years ago. I don’t hate my given name either but sitting feeling misgendered being called the name and having some folks refusing to call me Riven now makes me feel less fond of my birth name. Still, I don’t unlike it and I also don’t dislike who I was. I just hope to better align with who I am inside with who I’m becoming outside and with what I am going to do and who I’ll be with. Sending positive vibes.

I support the Trans Community. I believe that Trans people should not be physically assaulted or killed for being Trans. I will use whatever pronouns they wish for me to use. I believe that Trans people should not be denied work just because they are Trans. I am against them being bullied. I have Trans friends. According to science at the end of the day you are whatever your skeleton and DNA says you are.

Because our government pushes this on our children and brings up sex & sexual acts and perversions in school when children shouldn't even be thinking of sex and gives them books that encourages them to follow this type of lifestyle. 😭😥 Because the United States Government is sick.

They are turning tomboys into confused individuals, thank goodness I was born in 65 because I just wanted to play sports I didn't want to wear a bra all I wanted to do was what my brothers were doing but you know what I didn't grow up and mutilate my body and back then schools counselors and governments didn't try to tell me that I had gender dysphoria. Let kids be kids !!!!!

i feel killians experience, at least the emotions. i only lived for my ex girlfriend and her transition (she is mtf) and me (ftm) stopped testosteron. she was only attracted to girls and i didn't wanted to lose her and thought i was a girl as well and lost myself while that.

It’s a shame that this agenda doesn’t welcome questions. Censoring and deleting comments. I simply asked about the difference between the new term “top surgery”, and a bilateral mastectomy. Ridiculous!

I hope you know that it's completely normal to feel that way, and doesn't mean you're wrong about taking the steps you have. Take it one day at a time, be easy on yourself, trust your gut, and remember how far you've already come. Feel free to reach out if you ever want to chat some more!

I like that you can see that your love for your mom and your relationship with her are valuable and complex, and in the end worth it. Nearly my entire family is transphobic and very conservative and religious, and yet I haven’t cut ties with them because I know they still love me in their understanding, despite only ever deadnaming and misgendering me and telling me I need to get this ‘ideology’ out of my head. I hope their hearts will change one day, with patience. I often think about what people like Gandhi or Mandela were able to achieve, the impossible, through patience and nonviolence - in a peaceful manner. Our relationship has much more to it than these disagreements, and even though they are very hurtful I choose to hope for the best. Living in another continent in the past 10 years has helped me (I’ve been transitioning for 9 years). My best wishes for you and your family.

Everything you describe is “normal” for everyone; they are NOT signs of pathology. It takes decades past adolescence to discover who you are. It is an ongoing discovery. You don’t create a different self or gender before you even have a chance to just live, in the process of which “who you are” reveals itself. You’ve just begun, are so so so young.
